I'm sure there will be (or are already) several conspiracies this accident was perpetrated by the US government, the Israeli government or even Saudi Arabia.

Obvious junk is obvious.

There won't be a six point margin this year, and certainly not for Trump. He would be happy to win the popular vote at all.

While I do agree Trump doesn't win by 6, I'll just point out that this is the same mindset Atlas brought to the table in 2014. We all know how that went.

I would not like to derail this thread with personal attacks in a Milei's fashion, so please don't go in that way.

Anyway I would to point out that I think Milei is a seriously imbalanced person, as well as a despicable piece of scum that is inflicting intolerable suffering on the Argentinian people. Certainly a majority of Argentinian voters backed him last year, weary of the incompetence of previous governments, but I'm not the kind of sadist who enjoys whenn others make wrong decisions and pay the consequences

It's clear for me that Milei's conftontational style and his taste for cultural wars act as distractions, for the situation in Argentina is dramatic and catastrophic. The terrific state of Argentinian affairs is not only the consequence of the legacy of incompetence inherited from peronistas and macristas.  Milei is aggravating the social and economic problems with a sadist and inhumane approach devoid of compassion, based on his minarchist and authoritarian beliefs.

Despite I have a very low opinion of Milei and I feel very sorry for the Argentinians under his disgraceful rule, I strongly disapprove that members of the Spanish government make comments about alleged substance abuses. Regardless of whether Milei is a despicable person, he is the highest authority of a friendly country. i believe relationships between countries must be ruled by principles such as respect for institutions.

That being said, it's false this conflict was triggered by the comments made by the minister Óscar Puente,  for it is notorious that Milei has attacked the "evil socialists" (and Sánchez in particular) in numerous occasions before. Coming to the Steve Bannon festival in Madrid to insult Sánchez and his family is a miserable way of conduct that reveals disrespect for national sovereignty and democratic institutions.  "Conservatives" and "liberals" tempted to condon Milei's behaviour would be  equally miserable, for they could be contributing to erode our threatened liberal democracies and perhaps enabling new forms of authoritarianism. History ford not repeat itself, but certainly history rhymes. Beware of that

On a side note, the economic record of this government isxarguably the best in Spain’s recent history. Besides, one could contend Milei came here to boost the PSOE campaign for the upcoming EP elections

I honestly think it's a good deal of wishful thinking. Democrats were "guilty" of this in 2020, too, and maybe are to a degree this year by pointing towards 2022.

As for this year, the things are pretty shaky and inconsistent, so from either side you find certain indicators and data that apparently back your preferred narrative.

I have met so many liberal parents who want to move to a whiter suburb "for the schools" because they don't want their kids to go to the perfectly good school in the rich, but more diverse suburb. Northerners look down on the South but they are, in fact, much more scared of racial diversity.

I'm an atheist because all religions are cults

I feel like you think this was an intelligent or insightful take.  Unfortunately, it’s pretty low hanging fruit spam of the neck beard variety.

This was not spam. This is my real opinion. Wasn’t intending to be insightful. You seem to have no sympathy for people whose childhoods were ruined by being raised religious. So instead, you decide to personally attack me because I quit the denomination you are a part of (probably because you see me as a traitor)

I, personally, hold no ill will towards you nor do I hold any ill will against Torie. I sympathize that religion was used as a form of abuse towards you. Some of us just think that pithy and derogatory comments ("religions are cults," "religious people are mentally ill," "atheists are incel neckbeards," "atheists hate God," etc.) are better reserved for other places.

In mid April 2020, Harvard Harris showed Biden getting 53 to Trump's 47. In mid May 2020 they also showed Biden up 53-47. Quite literally the reverse of what Harvard Harris shows now. I am not sure what's so unbelievable about Trump winning the popular vote. It's not inconceivable at this point.

If he wins the popular vote, certainly won't be by six. Maybe one or one and a half. Not even Dubya could edge out a three point win in 2004.

Probably how Biden is doing in the KY/IN suburbs and if it's holding up to 2020, better or worse, etc
