Millenials and Gen X were approaching a crunch point in middle age. Trump/Covid19 froze time. From 2017-2019 fighting Trump took precedence over dealing with the fact that this was it. There was a new world after Trump.

Covid19 meant you also could take a school snow/sick day for 2 years.

Which meant a lot of people went to bed in june 2016 at age 29-36 and woke up in november 2021 age 35-42.

So they associate Biden not with being old himself but when they became old

I spoke at a few local high schools a couple of years ago. These sessions were meant to give the kiddos a chance to hear from and ask questions to people in vocations in which they might be interested.

During the Q&A section at one school, a jock-ish kid raised his hand and loudly said "You're hot! Will you go to prom with me?" It got a laugh, he got pats on the back from his dumb little buddies, and I wasn't bothered by it, but you could tell the principal was NOT happy.

I was talking to her afterwards and she confided that the present classes were some of the most immature and rowdy she'd ever encountered.

She ceded that it wasn't entirely their fault.  She said that many kiddos had simply forgotten how to act around adults, especially since they'd missed out on those late-middle to early high school years -- time that's extremely important to maturation and development.

Yeah, unless something crazy happens, she'll win all the states in the 2028 nomination at this point.

Peggy Olson, my favorite character on Mad Men, would be 85 today.  She is the bomb--her transformation from a timid secretary when the series starts in 1960 to a confident, successful career woman by the time it ends in 1970 is awesome!

As BRTD's very life depends on being able to post upon speculating publicly as to whether or not other Forum Posters would refuse to use their pooper scoopers while walking their dog in a Trump Precinct, as opposed to a Biden Precinct, I vote "No!".
Did BRTD introduce you to the music in your sig?

no way Biden only wins New York by nine and if he is he's losing in a landslide.

The obsession with Brand Rishi and the excitement a lot of centre-right commentators have over him (he can do an excel sheet!) has really ignored the fact he is a lousy campaigner; he was pretty terrible in the 2022 Leadership race; forgotten now but he made a big pious point of saying 'we can't afford tax cuts' and then pivoted to tax cuts when he realised he was warning. He also kept doing a weird thing about 'protecting our women'... and well we all see how he was during the locals.

The thing that would worry me if I was a Tory MP is that this was planned; they have know for a month or so they were going for July and they decided one of there last big announcements as a Government would be around gender guidance to schools!

Sunak is campaigning in a well-known marginal seat...his own.

Tbf after the North Yorkshire Mayoral results it wouldn't be a terrible idea!

This debate has always been stupid and people love to jump on the band wagon of hating pineapple on pizza.

Truth is, pineapple on pizza is great when caramelized properly. Pineapple balances out saltiness, which is something most people don’t appreciate because most people know nothing about proper balance when it comes to food. Problem is, most places don’t cook the pineapple properly. Of course, pineapple doesn’t belong on EVERY pizza, but the fun thing about pizza is there’s unlimited recipes. You can put ANYTHING on a pizza as long as the ingredients compliment each other. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had was in Madrid and was topped with green apples. Sounds tart, tasted fantastic.

No.  Biden's clearly not on the level of any of the four who are already there.
