This is kind of a pointless talking point, because there was never going to be a swapping of Biden for some random governor who never ran, or any possibility of replacing him with anyone besides Harris. Now if you want to argue Harris would be a better candidate that's one thing, but any other scenario was never feasible.

There's always the unfortunate fact, in any society that punishes crimes, of innocent people being wrongly convicted, and I'm not really sure that it's better for a man to spend over a decade locked up over something they weren't guilty of, over this procedure.

Haven't decided about this proposal as opposed to chemical castration, though, from all that I remember reading, recidivism rates for sexual incidents involving minors are extremely high, and prison is little deterrent for those types of criminals.
