Half the country either disagrees or doesn't know/no opinion. And less than half of independents agree. Also asked whether the trial was far - 47% said yes, the rest either no or don't know/no opinion. Independents were at 42% fair. Based on this poll, clearly the country is not unified around this verdict.

You are in the bargaining phase right now. 50% is a majority and I’d wager to say half of the “not sure” would lean towards approving the verdict. Independents by a 23 point margin approve the verdict

It's why measuring cities by metro area is a better method of ranking cities size's and importance. No offense of Jacksonville, but Miami is a more famous and prominent city.

It's also why it would be great if there was widespread municipal boundary/annexation reform.

Do you believe that an entire metro area should fall under the jurisdiction of one city?

Yes!

People actually like to talk about the city limits of Jacksonville being huge, but they're actually far too small. It should at least include the relic municipalities in Duval as well as all of Nassau, Clay, and St. Johns.

Likewise, Sacramento should annex the uncity suburbs of Carmichael, Orangevale, arden Arcade, and Fair Oaks.

RFK's a good man. Lots of integrity and the only one running who I think is honest. He correctly points out that this trial was a sham and political interference, while also articulating that the fact that he's a victim of lawfare does NOT mean we need to support him for president. He then lists a series of legitimate grievances and policy differences that separates him from Trump and why he is a better man to lead.

He's got my vote!

I don't think SCOTUS would ever grant absolute immunity, but I think the odds of Kavanaugh getting 5 votes for his "the law must specifically mention the president, otherwise he can't be charged under it" interpretation just went way up.  That sounds like it would be broad enough to overturn the NY conviction if it applied to both state and federal law.

He hasn't been sentenced yet, they are likely to sentence him to home confinement and he said he will do virtual rallies

It would have been too kind of the Tories to simply hand the seat to the Lib Dems.

Most likely, but I doubt Biden would've run.

Harry Enten has gotten so bad, it's really sad to see. He was literally just touting *yesterday* that the trial was making no impact (which wasn't a surprise to anyone given that there were no cameras in the courtroom and everything was filtered through reporters everyday) - he's a mess.

Yes, CNN has really wasted Harry.  He was such a good analyst when he was with 538.

I genuinely feel bad for him because he seems to only get trotted out like once a day for 3 minutes to do some crosstab diving or something but then his analysis has also been genuinely awful on the subjects so its hard to even feel bad for him. It feels like he stopped doing actual good analysis work and is just doing weird blah punditry now. Talent really wasted, and it feels like he's just succumbed to it.
