A meteor illuminated the night sky over Portugal and Spain this Saturday evening, at around 11:45pm. It's not clear if the meteor reached land or disintegrated in the sky. For a moment, it was thought to have crashed in a forest in the center of Portugal, but now, the most likely scenarios are that it either disintegrated before crashing or fell into the ocean.
