They're not polling that well. Notice that in most of the swing-state Senate polls (to say nothing of Ohio or Montana), the Democrats are in the low to mid 40s. The undecideds will break Republican.

Nothing. You can't equate primaries to general elections.

I actually agree with this, at least to some extent. Biden's been letting Trump dominate the news cycle, which is his biggest mistake. Trump's a fool to agree to debate - he's leading!

I'm voting Blair here. Blair was a good Prime Minister.

The contempt for Biden is palpable in almost any conversation with under-30s.
Progressive ideas are more popular than ever.

But then I now just consider all the Vivaldi parties + Défi and LE as one big establishment blob that needs removing.
Oh I basically agree, but also honestly the only thing I want out of this election is to see GLB cry when the results come in (which doesn't seem likely at this point, but a girl can dream) - so I may just cave and go PS after all.

What's the answer to "How did Merchan rule? 🤐" ? Just that he didn't?

He reserved ruling at "the hearing in [their] earlier report" (so "at least for now, it seems we won't know exactly how the judge will decide to charge the jury until it happens").

Could this be a sign that he is considering dismissing the charges?

The "How did Merchan rule?" question was in reference to one specific point in the proposed jury instructions:

Merchan isn't going to dismiss the charges.  This case is going to the jury.
