So... the House is going to take until f**king midnight?? Why the f**k does it take so long

Social distancing rules in the House bans having more than 55 representatives at once in the room.

can't the republicans all go together when it's their turn?  they don't care about getting covid.

Pelosi applies the rules with an iron fist. She was refusing to proceed on Day 1 until Boebert and
Taylor Greene put masks on and would have expelled them from the House if they continued refusing.

This is honestly the harshest I’ve ever seen the GOP rebuke Trump outside of the usual suspects like Romney, Flake, etc.

Too little, too late of course. But could this mean the tide is turning for the future? Or is it impossible now for them to contain the monster they have unleashed?

We're not going to know until after the next round of primaries.

If the Capitol Police didn't want to do their jobs they should have at least informed us so we could have flown in hotel Karen from NY to tackle the protestors.

I don't know what's more frustrating: Hearing Pence & Mitch speak or folks actually feeling comfort them despite their culpability of today's actions.

Oh I fully acknowledge they are culpable but they still had some strong words that were refreshing to hear from Republicans of their position. It was extremely obvious they were pissed too, honestly felt like some of the most authentic things they’ve ever said.

Or, they are just skilled enough politicians to know which way the wind is blowing, and that their best interests are served by distancing themselves from this Riot as much as possible. If you believe they've actually suffered some conversion over this incident, you're dreaming.

We can only imagine the hell that is being unleashed on WH officials now that Trump can’t vent on Twitter. He may be going full maniac.

Probably. Or later. The capitol being shut down most of the day very obviously delays things.

The Senate got it done. It would have been nice if the House had done it within the same time frame.

I suspect some may have been genuinely scared.

Toomey: I really wanted Trump to win
Also Toomey: Trump is a dangerous lying demagogue!!!!

Ugh. Horrid. But his speech was good. Wyden however is better.

Wyden being absolutely based should never be a surprise.

I doubt he knows anything. I remember Mooch has predicted Trump resigning from the presidency for a while.

Pat Toomey literally giving election atlas level analysis of PA county votes.

For real, I was ready for him to start talking about swings in SEPA, lol.

I didn't see it, did he discuss with maps?

Isn't it hilarious and sad, that looking back at the past 4 years, Scaramucci was actually one of the better appointments Trump made?

Is Keystone Phil (https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?action=profile;u=701) still a Toomey staffer? that would explain the election map nerdiness lol
