Every single Trump supporter:

Fuzzy Bear, Sanchez, even sensible folks like Buzz.

This is your fault.  You are to blame.

I don't see any Atlas poster supporting this. Even if Trump lost by 50,000,000 votes this would still be happening

When does the Left start arming bands of goons? Feels like we need to catch up.

Democrats need to start organizing paramilitary organizations under their belt. It’s clear that the established security forces are biased enough to let a coup happen.

A Blaze reporter has broken into Pelosi's office:

Good thing they are too dumb to mess with anything

I genuinely don't understand how the Pentagon can deny a request to bring in the national guard.  I mean they've been brought into protests as precautionary measures and now there are armed men in the Capitol.  Is there any possible reason not to approve the request?

Exactly. This is the biggest security threat in years, you'd think they'd do something about it

At the very least, we've been through a full blown civil war. We'll get through Dale taking a picture of Nancy Pelosi's computer.

I do wonder if its time to leave the country though. Economically things are ok, yeah not great given the pandemic, but could be much much worse. When the asset bubble inevitably crashes or we're crushed by debt, or some sort of Andrew Yang dystopia of automation happens, you wont have 1k people in the capitol, you'll have 10 million.

Let's not already forget what happened yesterday.

This is a scary event but it won't fundamentally change anything

Can the Congress decide to meet somewhere else to conclude the count?

Can they even get out of the Capitol Building?

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Almost everyone should be able to unite against this for a better next four years, I hope. Idk maybe I'm just being too optimistic

Bernie Sanders at this point would have called for his supporters to be out on the streets and stay there until democracy is secure. This wouldn’t have happened if Bernie won the primaries, just sayin

Alright, mods: how exactly am I "trolling" by saying that it's unfair to paint the protestors with a broad brush? How is it "trolling" to express support for protestors, irrespective of whether or not you agree with me?

There definitely is mod bias on this board.

These “protestors” literally broke into the capitol building, why are you expressing support for them if you don’t agree with them?

So...how does this influence the 2022 midterms?

My usual answer is “voters don’t have memories” but I feel like this could be different. Still too early to tell

Many left-wing twitter users are saying it's the real face of America.
They consider it as the worst country ever in the history of mankind.
Their solution is f America to be dismantled, forgotten, erased forever.

Some leftifts’ hatred for the country is distressing

Silence Republican.

This country is broken and only by acknowledging it is anything going to change.

No, I’m not a Republican but I still love my country and recognize the need for change. These people see the country as a lost cause and have no loyalty to it.

Denying that this is the real America is denying that deep systematic change is needed. Otherwise it is in fact a lost cause.

Biden (and Young Kim) are right, this is not what America is. The idea that this is who we are is akin to giving up

Biden does not deserve to be president then. He will not be getting my vote as he's making it crystal clear he has no intention of changing anything. He chooses to live in the fantasy world centrists have crafted where all is good and the system works only a few people are causing all the trouble. I will not put my support behind that sort of willful ignorance.

A belief in what America stands for means he won’t do anything?

You are just making things up, he has never once indicated that he has no intention of changing anything. Also, the election has already happened, so why don’t you just wait and see what he does

"This isn't who we are" is nothing more than sugar coating "we don't need to improve" because it brushes aside systematic problems for meaningless feel good garbage. Only by acknowledging this is what we are as a country can you work on improving.

I already said we need change, and Biden has too. I just found Tinashe’s comment (and countless others just like it) disgustingly defeatist.

I highly doubt they will invoke the 25th. Impeachment could occur, but with Trump’s expiration date so soon it may not be of much importance to Congress, and I doubt he will get removed. Most likely he will leave office on Jan 20 as planned

These last 24 hours have truly and unironically been great for America. First Ossoff and Warnock win, ensuring a Dem trifecta and no roadblocking by Mitch.

Then this, which shouldn't be too upsetting because we already knew that Trump and his supporters were capable of doing something like this. They are only hurting themselves anyway; I cannot envision a scenario where this helps Trump or the GOP's future, in fact I'm sure it will hurt it. Plus, there is no way in hell Manchin votes with Republicans after this charade. Let's go

Dear Senators,

Nice speech. Well written. Bravo. Maybe just tweet it out though. You don't need to use up all five minutes. Certify the results.

Thanks
