Sad to say, but any negative impact on Trump will probably be temporary, by election day everyone will have just accepted it like it's normal.

I imagine the people who said George Floyd deserved death for passing around counterfeit bills will never even CONSIDER voting for a convicted felon for President of the United States. Right?

 For allegedly passing around counterfeit bill. Mr. Floyd was never tried or convicted, unlike Donald Trump.

The defense must've really screwed up. Wasn't following it super closely but this seemed like the easiest case to beat.

Seems like no really good lawyer wanted him as client.

Susan Necheles and Emil Bove are actually very good lawyers. It's Todd Blanche who had the less than stellar resume. Curious as to why he led the defense instead of Necheles and Bove who are stronger counsel

Necheles was meh, Blanche was awful, and Bove was an embarrassment to the profession (well so was Blanche)

Trump had incompetent defense team, that is clear.
In fact, it was clear to me even before the trial.

Trump should have fired them before the trial.
