In 2010, the census listed White as an option without any further comment.  In 2020, they changed the format of the race question slightly and listed White with examples underneath (German, Irish, English, Italian, Lebanese, Egyptian).  Its believed that a lot of hispanics read the form and, seeing the white examples listed out being solely European & Middle Eastern, decided that it wasn't for them.  I assume if they hasn't listed out Egyptian & Lebanese, you would have seen a similar phenomenon with middle easterners.

It was stupid of them to change the format of the question as it makes comparisons to previous decades more difficult.  It also makes no sense to not provide a Latin American white option unless they were trying to make it clear that they didn't want them to select white.

Former President Donald Trump was up ranting late into the night about his criminal trial, as the case heads for closing arguments and jury deliberations next week.

Trump has been bombarding Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan with attacks throughout the case, but on Memorial Day weekend, Trump was up until 2 in the morning ranting about the case — sometimes in ALL CAPS shouting.

Just before midnight, Trump blurted “LEGAL EXPENSE = LEGAL EXPENSE!!!”

“Let’s put the President in jail for 150 years because a LEGAL EXPENSE to a lawyer was called, by a bookkeeper, a LEGAL EXPENSE to a lawyer!What else could you call it. Crooked Joe Biden Witch Hunt. Election Interference. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” Trump wrote after midnight.

Since Trump did this. Biden should counter by having a rally in say West Virginia or North Dakota.

Trump going to south Bronx is him riding on the narrative that he is making inroads with AAs and Hispanics as what polling and the MSM media suggests. Biden going to West Virginia would be nonsensical as there are no talks about him making inroads with rural whites nor the polls are showing so, no evidence to suggest that currently.

Keep in mind that New York has at least 3 competitive House Seats in New York City proper: NY-1 (LaLota), NY-2 (D'Esposito) and NY-3 (Suozzi).
Trump won't win in NY State but if he gets 42-43 % instead of 37 % that makes a huge difference down ballot.
Trump only barely won Suffolk County (Long Island) which is a traditional Republican-leaning County, in 2020. Lyndon Johnson won it 1964, Clinton in 1996, Gore in 2000, Kerry in 2004 and Obama in '08 and '12. It has mostly been RED in the 20th and 21st Century.

Only 3 is partially in NYC. 1 is in Suffolk County and 4 (not 2) is in Nassau County.

The organization they were working for seems quite legit running an orphanage and helping feed starving children is certainly a noble goal in Haiti. May they rest in peace.

Put together a sound legal strategy and strong legal team to handle legal challenges over canceling elections and invalidating results. Secondly, get security for candidates because any candidate who is an electoral threat to a Republican candidate will be at risk of being harmed.

None of that is going to happen. Trump isn’t going to fight tooth and nail to overturn an election that he isn’t a candidate in.

Some said he would not refuse to leave office in if he lost in 2020 but we see how that turned out. With that said he's not going to want a Democratic Congress because he wants the ability to do whatever he wants. Plus there are plenty of other Republicans who would want to tamper with elections so they don't really need his support to do attempt cancellations of and overturning of elections.

Republicans don’t have the power to cancel and overturn elections because they are run by the states, not the federal government. The only places they would be able to get away with it are in safe R states where they don’t need to rig elections in order to win.

Whether or not they can succeed is secondary to the amount of chaos such attempts would cause. None of the election lies in 2020 worked but they still did harm to the country.

With all that being said even a few Republican leaning counties refusing to certify their results to the state and create a situation that makes rogue County clerks martyrs for fighting fraud and create a whole new cavalcade of conspiracies.

Agreed. Just the attempt by a few bold Republicans would set a very dangerous precedent.
