https://freespeechunion.org/young-afd-politician-convicted-for-publishing-gang-rape-statistics-in-connection-with-afghan-migration/

Does the Afd suck? Yes, but I don’t think you should be punished for using official government statistics.

Also this horrible quote from an SPD minister, One such measure is to freeze the bank accounts of those found to have donated money to any group the government declares to be “far-right.”

“No one who donates to a right-wing extremist party should remain undetected,” she explained, adding: “Those who mock the state must deal with a strong state.”

She wasn't convicted for "using official government statistics", but for insinuating that a plan to get 200 Afghan staffers who had worked for the German Armed Forces to Hamburg after the Taliban takeover would cause "gang rapes" in the city.

The fundamental danger of the Tories going all out for Reform voters (even assuming, as per the above posts, that their current polling figures are broadly correct) is that the remaining more liberalish "Blue Wall" base of the Tories recoils in horror, whilst their targets remain scornfully unconvinced. If it goes *really* wrong in that respect, than an extinction level electoral event actually becomes possible.

Or a pitch for Tory votes to vote Reform:

Lucy Allan announces retirement and endorshing Reform in Telford.

UKIP got 18% there in 2015, though Labour ought to get around 50% this time making it academic in that seat.

Is this the new frontier of teenagers embarrassing themselves? Has vaping already fallen out of fashion?
I see plenty of people my father’s (or older) age with Zyn pouches while working so this isn’t exclusive to teenagers or young people.

White noise poster and pretty easy to ignore even though I don't recall ever putting him on ignore. I assume he was just banned for trolling?

There was an announcement that he had been muted for disrupting a bunch of threads and then a couple of days later he was banned, no reason given for the latter but I assume it was the same as the former.
I didn't have much interaction with him but soon before he was muted he had responded to a comment I made advocating for reform for at-will employment laws, saying "imagine being pro-Israel and believing this 🤡🤡" I was like... okay? I wasn't surprised to learn he was muted for being disruptive soon after lol.

Also happening this afternoon - the outgoing Conservative MP for Telford has endorsed the Reform candidate in her seat:

Meanwhile, North of Hadrian's Wall:

Ah, that doesn't look good. Whyte was the SNP's candidate there for the better part of a year, having been selected last autumn.

This is a very vulnerable seat for the SNP, and they've spent the better part of a year raising his profile, including lots of personalised leaflets, placards etc. If they're burning all that work (and cash), there must have been something pretty uncouth going on behind the scenes.

"If you post a meme they don't like, they wanna throw you in jail." - Fmr. President Donald Trump, 2024 Libertarian National Convention

Admittedly defending the right to meme is a good way to reach the LP since that's all they do. Trump's not really the right vehicle for that argument since he's the guy who wants to be able to sue people for criticizing him and made a genuine effort to prosecute someone in the Congressional gallery for laughing at Mike Pence.

I do think he’s slightly favored. Nothing will convince me (nor should anyone else be convinced) that Trump “has it in the bag.”

That's pretty much my position as well.

Nonetheless, if polling still looks the same into September and October, I'd be really worried.

Lol all we need is NV, VA, CO, NM, MI, PA and WI and NH 275 that's it AZ, GA and NC are null and void Biden can surely win that

The protestors don't know that Palestinians are like Hamas are part of Iran, RFK was killed by a Palestinian. I would never support their protest
