What potential events could lock up the election for either candidate?

Biden flopping as one would expect in the June debate.

I actually don't expect that at all.

This pick would be borderline suicidal.

It's not at all clear whether a Conservative Party that beat expectations this year would go forward in a centre-right direction, as opposed to deciding that its success was because of populism and it should therefore become more like Reform.

In about two or three days they'll be pledging to bring back rum, sodomy and the lash to the Royal Navy.

The funniest thing for me is that this was already attempted as a transparent - if effective - gimmick in the (original) British House of Cards, only that Francis Urquhart could pretend to do it while projecting strength and a sense of purpose.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that Shane MacGowan died just in time not to see that happen?

If you have Tom Cotton as your VP you’d need a damn good food taster.

Can you also point to where she "openly endorsed Hamas?" I think that would have been bigger news had it occurred.

Refusing to condemn Hamas's crimes is pretty much the definition of support. Not even Omar went there.
