Kyle is married to Krystal Ball so his show probably gets subsidized by her’s .
Lmao, is that true? That should end all his credibility right there.

Yeah, they do videos together often. I know Kyle way more than I know Krystal, but what I've seen from her just from watching Secular Talk, she seems alright. I should probably get to know more about her before I made a definitive statement on her though.

EDIT
yeah for example here's a video of them at home together doing a youtube video for Kyle's channel

She ran a scam PAC and after paying herself most of the money she started making YouTube videos with an Indian right-winger about how people on the left should stay home and not vote so that Republicans can win.

His point about polling missing in the opposite direction of conventional wisdom is nonscientific garbage.

When you fight Republicans using their own corrosive tools, they win.

Was Rep. Crockett justified in hitting back at Rep. Greene?  Absolutely. Rep. Greene has done plenty that deserves criticism - whether it's her performative stupidity, her atrocious personal conduct, the horrible things she's said, etc. But going after her for her looks legitimizes this sort of pettiness, and lowers the already low level of discourse in our government.

Or to quote a very old piece of folk wisdom,  "What’s the sense of wrestling with a pig? You both get all over muddy . . . and the pig likes it.'”

Tuapse refinery (4% of russia's pre-war output) is on fire again. Only a week or two after they fixed it from the last time. Keep choking off russia’s only economic driver

I don't blame her for clapping back, but ideally progressives would refuse to stoop down to the level of the MAGA deplorables.

They tried to handle it parliamentary, and were denied. Don’t blame them for clapping back when an official reprimand was denied.

It’s a disgrace to the United States, and it’s a choice. Repeal DC home rule.

How would giving DC residents less control over their own government help, exactly?
President should be able to appoint a czar of DC to implement Bukele policies and make our capital city safe.

Maybe that would happen. Much more likely, they appoint one of their cronies who doesn’t care about keeping DC safe, since he isn’t accountable to any voters, and DC becomes even worse.

We need two things:
1. Congress and the President in charge of DC governance
2. Members of Congress forced to live in DC most of the year so they can’t ignore the problem

This would solve the crime issue in DC.

Kulinski is a perfect example of the "Bin Laden had a point actually" leftist. Here's him a
few weeks back explaining Hamas's totally legit reasons for mass murder of innocents and how Trump provoked them into it:

Most people will not click on and watch this video, but he is just pointing out that Trump's (and now Biden's) Abraham Accords were designed to essentially collapse the position of the Palestinians internationally and contributed to the calculus where a desperate attack like Oct. 7 would have made sense to Hamas.

That is a far cry from saying he "provoked" them to it, and even farther from saying that they had "totally legit reasons", let alone that "Bin laden had a point" (!) Goodness gracious.

You and me clearly have a different definition of "far cry".

I felt safer walking around a very desperately poor neighbourhood in Cuba, than when I was walking around Philly at night.

The calculus is different for Biden vs Trump.  Trump's operating assumption is that Biden is unfit for the office, so debating should expose that to voters.

How is that different from Biden’s operating assumption?
