I can see how Warnock is such a charismatic leader of a church, and not just any church, but the church of MLK and John Lewis. I can see this guy as a presidential candidate in the future!
Raphael Warnock is no BARACK OBAMA. The Country won't elect an African-American anytime soon especially not someone with "Woke Progressive Stances" like Warnock.

Georgia is literally to the right of the country as a whole and they just did. Again.

After tonights Performance JON OSSOFF for me is a sure GONER in 2026 regardless if it's a Biden or Republican Midterm bcuz he won't be able to replicate the Warnock Coalition from 2021 and 2022.

You sound like a well-paid, high-ranking GOP strategist

They sound unhinged.

He did make his username after the election year of the guy he now incoherently rants against so go figure.

Can we all take a minute to appreciate just how absolutely unhinged 2016 sounds in every post they make?

He sounds very relaxed and, surprisingly, a little more coherent than he usually does. Seems relieved he lost.

Doesn't surprise me in the least, honestly. Speaking honestly and sympathetically for a moment, and putting aside the fact that I think the mentally well Herschel Walker of old was a disgusting person and the mentally unwell Herschel Walker of the present is an awful bigot, mental stress is physically painful even for those of us with our faculties all together, so I can only imagine it was even worse for Walker, being actively in cognitive decline while enduring the campaign trail and the nonstop public spotlight that comes with it. I wouldn't inflict what he was forced to go through this year on my worst enemy, and I wish him comfort and peace in the rest of his days. It's over now, and shame on anyone who ever tries to exploit him again.

I would simply not run for Senate.

Seems he was basically badgered into it by Trump, honestly. Item No. 28321 on the list of crimes and moral wrongs he's committed.

Warnock is a good speaker.

If he wants a third term in 2028, he probably gets one.

I see him retiring in 2028. Politics and religion don't mix, and he should author criminal justice legislation......

Police reform/voting rights
Voting Rights Legislation and federalizing our Elections will never happen. Thank God Senator Joe Manchin stood up for that and the Filibuster remained.

Also, cause I can,

Even Chris Christie (lol) just said on ABC that Walker is in "big trouble" if he keeps trailing Kemp by such large margins, predicts 47-48% of the vote right now.
I'll trade you Warnock for Bolduc, deal?

I'd rather have both Warnock and Hassan, thanks. Smile

But you can have little Marco and Ron Desanctimonious.

I took a break for a while, so I missed the last 10 pages or so.
But have there been any trump Tweets or other social media comments directly from him, regarding HIS Walker loss?

Warnock now ahead by more than he won by in last year's runoff.

Yeah… The Dem nominee will be a state legislator. McBath would not be a good gubernatorial candidate. She’s much more suited for federal races and will probably be a House lifer.

Maybe that's where Carolyn Bourdeaux tries to go now?

Warnock at 2.4% margin,  can he get the last 0.5% and make 2016's day?

Let's not forget that - plurality or majority - Georgia gave this man the most votes in 4 out of 4 contests over the past two years!

I see Republicans are handling this well...

Is he wrong? Tim Scott and Burgess Owens aren't liked by black people.....Republicans should aim for Asians and Latinos more.....a lot of Latino men, especially Latino cops, etc. are there for the GOP.....

Republicans should aim for 5%-20% of the black vote nationally. They can in the South. They need better messaging. They need to adopt the Platinum Plan that Trump and Ice Cube had and appeal to Black men.

Herschel was a horrible candidate. Horrible. Someone like a Jerry Rice or a Deion Sanders could have won.

The New York Times ("The Needle" page) is still estimating a +2.9 margin of victory for Warnock (when it's all counted and done for), even though his margin is currently showing +1.7.

Seems there are still many votes to be counted in large, high-Dem counties/jurisdictions.

The Needle is crap with that Estimation.
How does Warnock get a 2.9 margin if only 46,000 Votes are left Statewide per NBC!

Cause they are in DeKalb lol. And there's likely more than that. Are you this ignorant?

User 2016 ...
Just over the last 45 minutes or so, the margin has been updated and is now at +2.4
So 2.9 is almost there.

Edit to add:  2.9 is an estimate. The NY Times page has updated the number to 2.8
But it any case it will probably fall some where between 2.4 and 2.9 when it is all counted.

The bleed continues in the suburban counties of the smaller cities. While Warnock did not break 40% in Columbia County, his 37.3% is the highest any Democrat has gotten there since the three incumbent Democrat statewide row officers won re-election in 2006. Similarly in Houston County, he is the first Democrat to get within single digits since 2006.

To say nothing of the much talked about Fayette and Forsyth counties. Fayette undoubtedly flips in 2024, no matter who the GOP nominee is.

DeKalb County posts and just like I predicted a short while ago

Warnock 51.2
Walker 48.8

Maybe 10 or 15K are left Statewide.

Still puzzled where crappy Nate Cohn and his nonsense NEEDLE get the 2.9 Warnock Margin.

"Believe in our Constitution. Believe in our elected officials most of all." - Herschel Walker

So the trend continues of every Republican not named Donald Trump and not in the state of Arizona being a relatively gracious loser.

Almost all of the Votes are IN now. NBC just like I did estimates that 17,000 Ballots are remaining Statewide. How does Warnock get to 2.9, tell me? He would need another 50K Votes to get there.

One thing to note with the model setup on The Needle page, is that with the majority of numbers in the state already counted ... this means that their final prediction becomes more and more accurate to likely happen (within a small/tiny limit of changing).
