With this wondering if paid site will do by township for Iowa and also Ohio has a sheet where you can do this.  I know they have it up for Wisconsin and Michigan already.

Hi mileslunn---

Not sure what you mean by paid site, but it looks like most of the larger counties in Iowa do have their precinct names identified by municipality.

For example in Polk County there will be a ton of precincts coded Des Moines, West Des Moines, etc...

Dallas County, West Des Moines, Waukee, Urbandale, etc...

Haven't gone through and looked at all of the larger counties, but tbf Iowa does actually make it easier to quickly grab municipal numbers than most States, where you need to code precinct numbers against maps, municipal elections, looking out for split precincts, etc....

I meant this site where you don't even have to calculate them.  But for Iowa it is super easy so anyone want any particular one let me know and happy to calculate.  Precincts seem fairly large and so very easy to do in spreadsheet.

i was more referring to on this site you can pay to get data by municipality for Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin at moment and in past elections for New York, Pennsylvania and a few others and imagine you will on this site later.

Sedgwick county is being blocked by my firewall so anybody know what results were in Wichita?  Would be curious did Biden win Wichita?

New York-  45 /62 Counties Linked:

12/26/20 Update: Westchester County Added

Props to cinyc for the link

(Map update to follow shortly)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12/24/20 Update: Added Cortland, Greene, Herkimer, Putnam, and Ulster Counties.

12/22/20 Update: Added Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens and Richmond Counties:

*** Thanks Syke for confirming NYC results were precinct level ***

12/15/20 Update: Added Erie County

*** Thanks mileslunn for the link ***

So--- finally I started going through the list of counties in New York reporting by Precinct, now that NY has finally recently completed counting votes.

*** Note--- I might have missed a few so please provide links if you have them, since we have a plethora of skilled and experienced New York Election posters.

Also, I have neglected posting numbers for the Boroughs of NYC without having confirmation that the NYC results are Kosher, current, and break down properly into the proper election categories, in which case, I will try to create a "subcategory to link to the respective Boroughs as needed" (Open to Suggestions from the Atlas Hive who know the City much better than I have, despite former and current family history).

Just wanted to share this: Lauderdale County, MS will not give you their latest precinct map, but they will direct you to a private company from which you can buy the map. Talk about a third world operation.

Also, Ohio County, Indiana has certified a clear error in one of their precincts which gives Jorgensen 300+ votes and Trump zero.

Illinois has finally updated:

I have added it to the index of States with centralized sourcing for precinct results.

New Jersey- 12/22/20 Update:

Added link to Burlington County in the State Index.

https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=412981.msg7796096#msg7796096

Looks like we are currently missing precinct level results from (4) Counties in New Jersey.

In 2018, I believed that there was only one County which did not provide precinct level election results publicly.

Maybe I am missing something but looks like results from these Counties are not not currently available on Public Election Sources:

Essex
Gloucester
Hudson
Warren

We got enough posters from New Jersey, and Metro NYC (Not to mention many others from Atlas / Talk Election who should be able to provide direct links if there is anything which I haven't yet captured)

Hey NOVA Green, that NY map is missing NYC. The precinct results for the entire city (and broken down by county and CD) were made available a few weeks ago: https://www.vote.nyc/page/election-results-summary

Also, I have seen a few precinct maps of some other counties, like those in LI, I just don't know where they found them since their counties' websites don't have them.

Thanks Skye---

I was holding off on updating the NYC links in the NY Post upthread, until someone had confirmed these would be considering "precinct level results".

Update has now been performed.   Smiley

I've seen some of the other New York precinct maps for some of the missing counties posted elsewhere as well, but unless I have a State or County link, it's out of scope for this thread, although I have no doubt about the accuracy of the various posters in question, etc....

Cynic had posted on the 2018 Precinct Link thread I created, about how difficult it was to get LI precinct results.

The short answer to your Long Island question is no, those counties don’t post official precinct results online. They’d rather make you jump through hoops to get it, then charge you. It’s like some state secret to them.

Suffolk County took a step forward by releasing precinct results on election night. But those haven’t been updated since, and are in such a terrible format that it would take all day to scrape the data.

So even though Florida normally posts precinct level results from one easily accessible location, I'm starting to get impatient, so I'll at least create this as a temporary list and delete when Florida updates.

Florida: Counties reporting by Precinct (64/67)Sad

I am currently missing (3) Counties:

Franklin
Jefferson
Seminole---   Although there is a precinct option the website is funky and might only include ED precinct numbers, so I'm holding off on linking until I can confirm.

A side note--- I will try to do some cleanup on the first two pages of the thread to eliminate some of the excessively long links that "explode the page".

I don't want to lose any data however, so will need to go through and replace with instructions for where to access the same data when applicable.

I'll delete this post once maintenance has been completed.

Seminole---   Although there is a precinct option the website is funky and might only include ED precinct numbers, so I'm holding off on linking until I can confirm.

In the past, Seminole County has not broken down non-ED votes by precinct, and I don't expect them to this year either.

Missing Precinct links for the following (4) Counties:

Bradford

Union

I seem to recall several of these being issues to track down for the 2018 GE.

Kentucky--- (3/120) Reporting

Since our Atlas Legend Dr. RI had previously commented previously on this thread regarding how many or most Kentucky Counties would not be posting precinct level results (Let alone in their Statewide format as in previous years), I decided to start a link for Kentucky Counties reporting precinct results, so at least we can access the data available).

I don't know if anyone has noticed this yet, but I've contacted a number of officials in KY, and it appears almost every county will not be reporting precinct results this year.

I had noticed that the state website was curiously lacking in detail this year, compared to 2018, where some 90% of counties had precinct results available via the KY Elections ENR engine, but had assumed it was just a delay in reporting county detailed numbers, or posting data by the State.

Did anyone provide an explanation or rationale?

Basically, due to COVID, counties in KY (except Jefferson, I think, as I've found precinct data for them) went to a county-wide voting center system where everyone's ballots were mixed together. This are some of the explanations I've received so far:

Quote
Per the State Board of Elections there will not be any precinct level statistics available.

To allow for the possibility of true voting centers, the ballots weren’t labeled by their specific precincts.  For example in Villa Hills, the ballot is the same for all residents which was ballot face number #56, but in a regular election ballot #56 becomes C133, C134, C135, C136 and C137.  This coding makes them precinct specific and that is how we track precinct level results.  Even though I had 57 different ballot faces for this election, if there had been precinct specific setups, I would actually would have had over 125 different ballot faces.

Quote
[W]ith operating under the emergency regulation and using the voting centers that could serve anyone in the county, we do not have the ability to break down the results by precinct.

Because there are so many counties in Kentucky, I will initially just try to locate results for some of the larger population counties (Top 20 POP Counties), rather than spend hours going through all (120) Counties in KY, and hit this as soon as I went to County #2:

Fayette County:

https://fayettecountyclerk.com/web/elections/electionresults

"For previous county-wide election results, click on the election date listed on the left.

Results by precinct may be viewed in our office.  Copies are available for a fee.
"   WTF???

KY Counties Reporting by Precinct:

Christian County:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1A0Pg5EPshyJ0UGw9SN31okL2d1W8nTXt-CcXvrtjU8w/edit#gid=0

*** UGLY but at least they make an effort ***

Jefferson County:

http://elections.jeffersoncountyclerk.org/Gen20SOVC.pdf

Oldham County:

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/KY/Oldham/106473/web.264614/#/summary

*** Click on a precinct level download on the right side of the web page ***

It appears that Dr. RI was absolutely 100% correct in his assessment (Not that I doubted for minute), but I am absolutely and unequivocally dismayed and shocked that the Great State of Kentucky went from >90% of Counties reporting precinct results through a centralized system in 2018 to their dismal reporting structure today:

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/KY/91996/220209/Web01/en/summary.html

https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=307483.msg6600330#msg6600330

It is a national disgrace that KY Election Officials have hidden behind the COVID-19 Pandemic to avoid election transparency, while meanwhile many Elected Republican Leaders (Including in Kentucky) claim that "Voter Fraud" cost Trump the Election, while now Kentucky appears to be the worst State in the Union (#50), when it comes to presenting detailed election data.

Hell, even Maine provides Town Level results...

Not bagging on Kentucky at all, in fact fond memories of the State.

Still, when it comes to Election Results from Kentucky, we are left with a giant lump of coal in 2020.
