Sorry to be annoying I've just woken up and can't see a good summary of the nights counting; what's the current situation?

PA looking quite rosy for Biden despite some hiccups with how many mail ins there are left, GA looking encouraging for him, crazy mob in AZ is delaying vote counting. Think that's about it.

Outstanding vote remains in PA, NC, GA, AZ, NV, and AK.

Trump gaining ground in NV and AZ, though we're not sure if it'll be enough.
GA keeps getting closer, as does PA. Not sure when we'll get more vote totals.

Biden's getting closer and closer in Georgia and PA. It seems clear Biden will take PA, but it isn't clear whether or not he'll take Georgia. Trump is getting closer in Arizona, but it isn't clear whether or not he'll take Arizona.

Also, there is supposed to be an info dump in Arizona any minute now.

We all have PTSD, but why would Biden's team launch a transition website and communicate with the Trump team about transition as well. They're not pulling a Hillary and jumping the gun, are they?

A guy on MSNBC said that Bob Casey has been playing Steve Kornacki with the way he's been crunching the PA numbers.

Regardless of how many mail in votes have yet to be counted. NYT is still only reporting 89% of the vote in PA with Trump ahead by 160,000. Is it possible they're behind on reporting the counted ballots or is NYT using data that overestimates the remaining vote?

I think it's the law that they have to move quickly. It's moot if Trump wins.

Thanks everyone! I assumed both Arizona dumps would be done by the time I was awake but the delays seem to have impacted it; do we still not know how Arizona is going to go & how these late ballots are going?

The last dump was Trump +18.

Pure speculation: The next dump will be a good number for Trump, but after that, the rest will be good for Biden.

Here's the actual notice from the FAA that declares" Temporary flight restrictions for Special Security Reasons". Note the start time of the notice, and location.

90,000 ballots across the state of GA. SOS won't speak until the morning, as they counting furiously through the night.

Is 90,000 enough?

If Biden wins them 2-1 then he'd net 30k votes.

The PA SOS also said that they have received about 2.8 million absentee ballots so far, which is ~200K above the total reported on the Department of State's website.

So, I guess we'll have to wait and see.  Tongue

Possibly both.  They seem to be reporting slower than other places.

The way they've been going so far, yes.
