Sarah Fuller just kicked an extra point to become the first woman to score in a Power 5 game

Oregon State-Stanford could be the best game of the week.

Well, given Arizona went winless this year, and they just got crushed by Arizona State, I'm not surprised Sumlin got canned.

I wouldn't be shocked if interim Head Coach Paul Rhoads got the job. This would also be a good landing spot for Steve Sarkisian or Hugh Freeze in my opinion.

So, if USC loses (which looks likely but we'll see), then the Pac 12 south will be tied. The tiebreaker for Colorado-USC....is the CFP rankings. I believe the new ones on Tuesday (if neither is ranked then we have other tiebreakers). If this is prolonged until Tuesday Night, do we still want to pick for the pac 12 championship game (which is on Friday Night)? Or just skip it?

Pick it, but don't post the schedule until Wednesday morning.

UCLA choked, so USC will be the Pac 12 south winner.

That being said, it was pointed out that Washington has covid issues, so it may be USC vs Oregon instead. I will post the games tomorrow as normal and PM everyone if it changes.

LSU won because a Florida player decided to throw a shoe about 50 yds.
Coastal won a "trap" game in wild style
Western Michigan did not win in wild style
The USC-UCLA and Stanford-Oregon games were pretty good too.

WEEK 15 RESULTS

Six games were canceled.  I won the week at 16-3, with three people a game behind.  Full results:

16 GeorgiaModerate
15 Dereich, Donerail, ExtremeRepublican
14 dfw
13 Dingo Joe, Illiniwek
11 NY Express

There were seven unanimous picks, all correct:

Arizona State-Arizona
Georgia-Missouri
Northwestern-Illinois
Coastal Carolina-Troy
App State-Georgia Southern
Virginia Tech-Virginia
BYU-San Diego State

And five games with a single dissenter (the dissenter was wrong in all of them):

Toledo-Central Michigan
Army-Navy
Penn State-Michigan State
Florida State-Duke
USC-UCLA

Overall it remains a tight race; dfw and Donerail are tied for the lead, but three others are within 5 games of the top.  Year to date standings:

206 dfw, Donerail
204 Dereich
202 GeorgiaModerate
201 ExtremeRepublican
178 NY Express
174 Jgibson
172 DINGO Joe
164 Illiniwek
 16 JacksonHitchcock

Not posting the pick'em games until tomorrow. Apparently there will be 6 additional Big Ten games and 5 Pac 12 games on the same Saturday as the Championship games, so if there is no objection I would like to put those on the schedule too. The indication I have heard is that they will be rivalry games and such, so not inconsequential persay.

(the matchups will be announced tomorrow)

https://sports.yahoo.com/after-dropping-lovie-smith-who-will-illinois-hire-candidates-172922536.html

Yahoo Sports has a list of possible candidates to replace Lovie Smith at Illinois.

They are:

Kent State Head Coach Sean Lewis

Buffalo Head Coach Lance Leipold

New York Giants Outside Linebackers Coach/former Wisconsin/Arkansas Head Coach Bret Bielema

Army Head Coach Jeff Monken

Notre Dame Defensive Coordinator Clark Lea

Air Force Head Coach Troy Calhoun

Wisconsin Defensive Coordinator Jim Leonhard

Toledo Head Coach Jason Candle

Nevada Head Coach Jay Norvell

North Dakota State Head Coach Matt Entz

Tulane Head Coach Willie Fritz

Oregon Offensive Coordinator/Former Fordham Head Coach Joe Moorhead

Who is the best hire for the Illini?

Malzahn is almost certainly going to end up as a head coach somewhere else (maybe Arizona or Illinois?)

I wonder if they could lure Tommy Tuberville out of the Senate to take the job?

Sean Lewis would be a tremendous fit for the Illinois job. He's a Chicago native with Big Ten experience (he played at Wisconsin) who's done an incredible job at Kent State, in part because he's been able to recruit Illinois very well. Illinois is a tough job, but if he can go to a bowl at Kent State he can do it anywhere.

Of course, B1G boosters are nothing if not stupid, so I'm sure they'll pass up the exciting young (er, "unproven") option for a nice safe bet like Bret Bielema.

Gotta be Hugh Freeze going to Auburn. He's a perfect fit for that sleazy program.
