Two blatantly obvious points I think

1) The GOP call every Democrat a socialist from Joe Manchin to Ilhan Omar. It is an attack line that is perhaps not as strong as it once was, to put it rather charitably.
2) The GOP essentially spent most of the last decade as a crypto-fascist party and they're doing fine. I would suggest on that basis that a Sanders nomination would not be the end of the world.

Essentially some of you need to get a f!cking grip.

This. Particularly on the scare-word socialism.

This is exactly what Democrats do to Republicans, except about Fascism. How many times has Trump been called a Fascist? And of course they have their bigotry scare words as well.

The difference is that our claims are objectively true. If it walks like a fascist, talks like a fascist, and s**ts like a fascist, chances are it's a fascist.

Well, there was this.

I'm sure Bernie's supporters will champion support Buttigieg's fight to ensure that the correct vote totals are reported with the same ferocious energy they displayed when they contested the results of the Iowa Caucus Roll Eyes

Sure, I support a recanvass, after 100% of precincts report. What's important now is to quickly get all the results, so candidates are able to address all of the mistakes at once.

Was looking around some buttigieg precincts and one of them i couldn't use street view and it turns out it was a gated community.

I see a wine cave, I think.

Perfect example of Democrats using Fascism as a boogeyman through total delusion. Will Dems ever get sick of being hypocrites by complaining about Socialism being a boogeyman and then not standing up to those using Fascism as one?

I don't know if Biden can win SC after yesterday.

Why? He's in 2nd right now. That's a good showing for him. He had given up on the state and when he realized his numbers were as good as they were he made a late push that worked. I don't know what else you expected. Staying in the top keeps a candidate relevant.
Biden Campaign predicted a strong 2nd Place. This is anything but strong. And he might even lose the Final Alignment Popular Vote to Buttigieg where is with 60 % only up 300 Votes or so while keeping his State Delegate lead over Mayor Pete. He's losing to Sanders by 25 Percentage Points.

He's in 2nd. That is strong itself. lol I don't get how you think 2nd place isn't strong.

Socialism in a social democratic framework is actually a good thing, fascism is a horrific ideology that lead to mass devastation, war and genocide......

Joe Biden is the Democrat's last hope to stop a socialist independent from hijacking the party.
He can win in the South, Amy and Pete have no more fuel.

Is it that or is it the party returning to what it was pre the neo liberal hijacking?

2020 really should be the last dying breath of the caucus system. The DNC should simply ban them.

Completely agreed, I can understand them in territories, but outside of them they should be banned

I just want to say I'm so proud of the culinary union workers. Their older, more well-off leadership tried to scare them into not voting for a socialist, and they respectfully crapped on their advice. Especially if they had to caucus in front of their co-workers and bosses, it gives me a lot of hope for our society to see that kind of autonomy and/or non-conformity.

I still dont get how Union management can keep supporting these Dem establishment candidates. The Democrats in the NV legislature couldn't even overturn RTW

I'm hearing time and time again the DNC should get rid of these Caucuses. It's actually not quite that simple. For example in Iowa to change the Caucus to a Primary there first needs to be a bill passed in the IA State Legislature to do that (and Republicans have a Majority there) and then it needs to be signed by Governor Reynolds to become Law (A POTUS Primary in IA is much more costly than a Caucus so Reynolds would probably veto it).

It's not that simple than you think.

How were there no f**k-ups in 2016 yet this has happened twice now? The fact that there is only 60% of the results at this point is ridiculous

Because this is the first year they've had to report all three sets of numbers rather than only the final results.
