Other than Cavanaugh (who already has) are any of the primary contestants expected to drop?

Similarly, is there any chance that Ivey doesn't steamroll everyone? Barring any developments with her health, ofc.

Nah it'll be a tough fight between her and Tommy Battle.

You mean it will be a tough...battle between them?

no, not even on college campuses. part of being a "counterculture" is that you have to be cool, and most college republicans are massive dorks

In a world marked by extremist individualism and saturated by hipsters, the only true rebellion is complete conformity.

I imagine this being read with one of those over-dramatic movie trailer voices.

Clackamas. If I ever moved to Oregon I would prefer striking natural beauty in my backyard, so somewhere a bit in the outskirts, but still connected enough to big city Portland and Washington County. I am a suburbia guy at heart, have lived in suburbia my whole life really.

DeWit and Brnovich are on opposite ends of the scale here. DeWit is the only pol in Arizona I could see with a chance of beating Ward, but Sinema would walk right through him just the same as all the other hard-righties in the state. Brnovich, on the other hand, is a vastly better, more widely-appealing GE candidate (he made headlines not long ago for suing the Arizona Board of Regents for hiking tuitions for no good reason), but there's not a chance in hell he makes it through Ward's Great Wall of Trumpists, especially if McSally runs and splits the vote of relative sanity.

There's another issue here, too. While Brnovich would probably do a lot to shave away Sinema's base of moderates and independents, Kamala has it right: Ward's ungodly coalition of Trumpists, Tea Partiers, and doomsday prep types are all exactly the sort of voters who would completely sit out the general election if their candidate were to lose the primary.

Plus, he misspelled "Louisiana" and "Montana". He seems to like the letter n.
And the next president won't be amused at seeing her state's name being crippled...
Out of context, my first thought was that John Bel Edwards and/or Steve Bullock were transitioning and running for President. I assume you were talking about Warren, considering the butchering of Massachusetts, but still.

The American Pie spinoff movies are good
There are at least five songs that would make better national anthems than “Star Spangled Banner”

Down Syndrome is a horrible justification for abortion. Enough Said.

You know what else is horrible? Forcing the parents you forced to give birth to that child to go bankrupt trying to pay for their medical care because you want to give tax cuts to rich people.

If only you cared as much about people after they're born as you do before they're born.

I'm pretty sure Wulfric only cares about three things: himself, his ego, and his own self-righteousness.

Comrades—

Now that I've been living in a communist dictatorship for 48 hours, I have to say, I expected there to be more excitement. They haven't even changed the flags yet. I suppose the Central Committee will make those adjustments in due time.

The dismantling of the capitalist system has been a stunningly smooth transition. What marvelous economic ingenuity! Long live this new socialist paradise, and our new national holiday, November 4!

I'm a conservative who is fascinated by the idea of single payer. I'm convinced it can be done in an efficient manner. The only concern I have that really holds me back from fully embracing the idea is how easily it can be corrupted/destroyed by the left as DavidB noted. "The Dream" of Ted Kennedy can become a nightmare before it implodes.

I look at it this way: very few conservatives question public education. Why not healthcare? I oppose the government involving itself in the market. But healthcare is a service, not a commodity. And to a limited degree, the government has a historic and permanently rooted obligation (like it or not - I am mixed myself) to provide such services to the public (roads, schools, law enforcement, public safety, etc).

My ideal healthcare system is this: we all pay in equally, we all get equal care. There should be an opt-out for those who want to purchase their own private insurance of course, and there should be no discrimination based on income. If you are Donald Trump or Donald the bus driver, you are regardless entitled to the same basic healthcare plan.

I think this can be paid for by a national sales tax that cannot be avoided. The pimps, drug dealers, illegals, and general hustlers of the world will be paying for it too. And of course, with the cost of health insurance eliminated, the public will have a greater share of their income to spend on the slightly higher costs of goods.

If we just got the f out of Afghanistan and spent that money here, it'd be hella cool.
