Oh my God oh my God oh my God YES, this place looks like pure amazing epicness! Like seriously, talk about a glorious place!

Much better than Daegu which appears to be a truly evil sh!thole that I would definitely stay out of.

Are there are any Korean automakers based in Gwangju? If so I would TOTALLY have to buy their cars!

My husband and I are going to Korea next month, but not to Gwangju. Only Busan, Jeju, and Seoul.

I’m not playing into this obvious attempt at getting a Jeolla vs Gyeongsang clash in here.
Both are cities I would happily visit.

OP reads like some BRTD just got back from doing ecstacy with a newfound dongsaeng and learning about southwestern Korea.

Actually it's checking out Korean election maps.

End of the korean dictatorship was marked by a particularly brutal massacre of protesters in gwangju (which was always at odds with the regime) so it has no truck with the Korean right.

Jeolla is trending rightwards today, but it started at titanium left for the reasons you provided.
