I have been fortunate to travel several places out of the country, but I guess the tradeoff is I really haven't been to that many places in the United States.  Some of those states, like PA (one night in Philly), WY (literally drove through once) and KY (been to one Cincinnati suburb), barely even count.

Dark green: Only House of Residence, Only City of Residence, Only State of Residence

Regular green: Been there

New York: Driven through

NJ+NC: Looked at from another state's border, but never been

The westernmost place I've been so far is Michigan coast of Lake Michigan, and Baltimore's inner harbor is the closest I've ever been to the Atlantic ocean. Such is life being lower-middle class.

I was too young to remember going to a lot of them, but I've been to all the contiguous ones, and DC.

Dark yellow for residencies, medium for intentional visits, and light for drive-throughs or brief stops.

255 EVs. I'm tentatively planning a massive Northeastern trip through DC, Philly, New York, Boston, and everywhere in between--so I guess I'll get to 270 with Delaware. I'd also love to go to the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska.

Dark: Lived in
Medium: Stopped in/Visited
Light: Airport layover

I may have driven through Wisconsin with my family when I was very little, but if I did, I don't remember it.

Maroon - Lived in
Red - Spent a decent amount of time in
Pink - Traveled through

CA is a massive outlier. We went on a trip there when I was really too young to remember much, but hopefully I'll make it back soon to appreciate it more.

Lived in the green as an adult, spent a lot of time in the blue, been to the red....to be fair, I don't remember some of them (Montana, N.Dakota,MN and the Caronlinas....and I may have been in ID and DE, but again, don't remember and I'm not 100% sure I've been there.)
