There was mod intervention. The worst post was removed, this one was nothing in comparison.

People are obsessing over the “dOnT cHaLleNgE aN iCuMbeNt”

They’re going to realize next year he’s a totally useless politician.

We’re embarrassing ourselves in front of the nation. But oh well.....

The career of a bright star in the party is going to fall apart for 6 years of what .....?

I get that some people feel it is their biblical duty to go around trying to convert others, but unless someone reaches out to you it's a good example of not minding your own business. Leave people alone.

When I was younger Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses would come to my parents door almost every month, we told them not to come back and they always came back.

Dude, if you're going to fulfill a stereotype, at least own it.

I will own the stereotypes that actually apply to me (blonde white suburban libertarian from wealthy area who hates manual labor and is completely antisocial).

Could've sworn you said you were Asian...

Forumlurker or Horus sound like top contenders?

Why may I ask?

And as for Alben's comment, it wasn't offensive. As a gay man I don't understand how anyone could find women attractive. That was literally the tamest comment ever.

People of differing groups should not mingle with one another, especially so if they're poor, and especially so if they're children. Such an environment as that is basically the equivalent of lighting a match around a gas leak.

This isn't to say that the reason for these different groups being different groups is valid. Race is bullsh!t, and the only way for we to advance as a nation is to shed these identities and the conflicts associated with them. That ain't ever gonna happen though, unfortunate as that may be.

TL;DR What I said was tone-deaf and stupid and doesn't really represent my actual views. Sorry about that. Longer explanation below.

Spoiler alert! Click Show to show the content.

Hey, we all say dumb stuff in the heat of the moment. You're usually a solid poster who I wish would post more which is why I was so surprised. If bronz had said that for example I wouldn't have batted an eye lol. Good on you for self reflecting, that's something many cannot or will not do.

It actually makes my blood boil how dumb Millennials and Gen Z are about foreign policy. Just no idea of how the real world works. Sorry it isn’t all kittens and rainbows.

The only conspiracy theories are white privilege and systemic racism.

Whites in this country are subject to far more systemic racism than any other group, and its not even close.

Came here to post exactly that.

I have never seen such demonic energy as I saw in this speech. Replace "MAGA" with "kulak" and you basically have Stalin.

Not letting enemy combatants come in, spread their legs and produce fresh reinforcements is anti-American? What?

Jesus. BG - NY has always been a racist xenophobe, but that is outright storm front level. Disgraceful
I'm anti-censorship so I won't report this libel, but there is nothing racist about me. I don't like white immigrants either, and have long been a proponent of a northern border wall. Zero means zero.

"I'm not a racist, I'm just a xenophobe."

Like that's any better?

Racism is absolutely worse than xenophobia and it's not remotely close.

No, like Sanchez already said hating someone for an immutable trait is far worse. This should be basic.

how, exactly, is "being different than you" not an immutable trait? people don't exactly get to decide their culture and nationality at birth. They're born with it just as much as they are race

No they're not lol. Some people are born literally caught between two cultures. And later in life a person can shift from Islamist culture to Western culture or to a hybrid culture for example. Not true for race, a Black man will always be a Black man and will face systemic biases in America due to his race, though of course hopefully fewer with every passing generation.

Culture has a real impact on the safety of sexual minorities as well! Hamtramck Michigan and their all Muslim city council recently passed an ordinance prohibiting pride flags on city property. They claimed the majority of residents were offended by them. We have enough religious fundamentalist here. Why diversify the bigot pool any further?

And btw, while you probably think I'm some far right nutcase on borders, I'm not at all. My position would fit well in the British Labour party. I think Obama's first term policies were reasonable and I wish we'd return to them. But sometime around 2014 everything relating to immigration broke.

Yet you spend all of your time defending far-right bigots and creeps on the forum, all the while defending mass deportations that resulted in unnecessary pain and suffering for many Americans who were born in this country. Why? What was the point of any of this?

I'm tired of this stuff man. Just join the other side, we don't need people like you.

Really? I do? That's why I'm always dunking on people like ER and Redban?

I support universal healthcare, massive infrastructure investment and sensible criminal justice reform. My immigration policy as I already stated is basically Obama 2008. I could never imagine myself voting Republican. So no, sorry, you're stuck with me. Deal with it.

What American citizens have been deported?

Horus is a good man who fights the lunacy of the religious right and the delusions of the open borders left.

When the parents of American citizens are deported, usually said citizens are also deported. I understand they aren't American citizens to you but in the eyes of the law, they are citizens, and in the eyes of most Americans, they are Americans as, if they were not, it would chip away at the premise that allows a solid 30% of the country to be classified as Americans without hesitation.

Various dullards on the forum can't grasp this because their stance on immigration isn't driven by any understanding of immigration but petty malice that erupts as they see a taco truck or a kebab stand or whatever.
Are you speaking about anchor babies? They can stay in the US with a guardian. It's a great evil that people can try and plant a flag here, very much an invasion, but under the current law, they are citizens. That's why I disagree with Vivek - as evil as the birthright cancer is, it needs to be overturned by constitutional amendment.

In terms of immigration...I live in Manhattan. Beautiful city, aside from all the illegals here. I visited Tokyo earlier this year. Incredible city in an incredible country with closed borders. Why can't we be the same?

If you like Tokyo so much, why don't you just emigrate there? I'd like the United States of America to remain the United States of America and am not interested in it morphing to suit the fantasies of some addled online bigot.

Some people want to stay in their country of birth and fight for what they believe in instead of running away and leaving less privileged Americans to face the consequences.

Oh yeah forgot to add, I'm also super pro choice. I would never vote for a party that in many states is forcing women to give birth to rape babies.

I guess none of this matters. Since I believe in basic border security I should just be thrown out of the coalition. Have you seen Biden's approval rating? We're gonna need all the help we can get...

The Nazi-endorser is repeating antisemitic rhetoric, news at 11.

If you call opposition to AIPAC antisemitic I guess I can call you pro January 6th for supporting them. That's how little sense you make right now.

You do realize they're not going to ask your politics if the pogroms escalate, right?

Both of Ray's posts belong here as they're about equally delusional.

Another level of unhinged here. Can't believe this wasn't deleted for excessive hyperbole.

This is what happens when history education in this country is an abject failure, to the point 25% of Generation Z denies the Holocaust and 2/3rds thinks it wasn't as bad as 6 million Jews dead.

Unlike the older generations, they don't even understand why Israel exists in the first place, and just falsely view this as a battle of the strong Israelis vs. the weak Palestinians as a result, without any understanding of the historical context which saw Israel have to fight tooth and nail just to exist while under attack from their neighbors who refused to recognize them for decades.

Also, when you're too young to even remember 9/11, maybe as an American at least you won't realize how much of a threat Islamic terrorism really is, and thus have a more indifferent reaction to 10/7. Compound this with getting all your information from the CCP-backed TikTok and reading fewer actual books and news articles than ever, and this is the result.

This is all the result of IGNORANCE. Pure IGNORANCE. Worse, ignorance masquerading as holier-than-thou "enlightenment," all because these gullible young people saw some Twitter/X threads with fake news about how Israel is deliberately murdering innocent Palestinians, the opposite of what actually happened.

And it's only going to get worse. Before you know it they'll be arguing Bin Laden wasn't so bad... Wait, that's already happening. Or that Taiwan isn't a country... Wait, that's happening too.

F--k.

Ban TikTok and ban it now.
