There's also been talk that Biden would have an "informal ban" on appointing sitting Senators to the Cabinet (as a polite way of excluding Warren and Sanders).

Yea this is crap, I doubt Gillibrand will go for a cabinet post, and why would they appoint AOC of all people to senate when there are so many Dems. Why would they scared of her and then appoint her to senate lmao

Hard agree. No way Biden elevates AOC to the Senate, where she's one primary away from becoming the nominee, and defining the party. If Gillibrand gets into the Cabinet, I'd have my money on Tish James.

I think the thing I care least for is "sources tell me that" style reporting.

Is it possible that someone from Trump's camp really is worried about ED turnout, or that Republican operatives are confident in Texas? Sure. But how often have such vague reports ended up just being total BS by the time the night ended.
