He's got an hour and 7 minutes left. I'd bet against it happening.

2:15pm is the usual start time of the afternoon court session, which is probably why the judge chose it.

More interestingly: is this a state crime?  If so, does it violate his release conditions in his federal trials?

Technically, yes & yes, but enforcement his conditions of release would be discretionary (i.e., a warrant "may be" issued for his arrest if he commits any federal, state or local crimes while out on bail).

Trump has been effectively gagged in some appropo karma for farting up the courtroom and making everyone else gag.

He should probably have the same treatment as Bobby Seale in the Trial of the Chicago Seven.

Trump, Venting About Lawyer in His Criminal Trial, Seeks More Aggression
Todd Blanche upended his career to represent Donald J. Trump and has been the former president’s favorite. But Mr. Trump has made him a focus of his episodic wrath.

Quote
Donald J. Trump’s Manhattan criminal trial had barely begun when he started to turn his anger toward his lead lawyer, Todd Blanche.

Although Mr. Blanche has been Mr. Trump’s favorite lawyer for some time, behind closed doors and in phone calls, the former president has complained repeatedly about him in recent weeks, according to four people familiar with the situation.

He has griped that Mr. Blanche, a former federal prosecutor and veteran litigator, has not been following his instructions closely, and has been insufficiently aggressive. Mr. Trump wants him to attack witnesses, attack what the former president sees as a hostile jury pool, and attack the judge, Juan M. Merchan.

Mr. Trump, who often complains about legal fees and sometimes refuses to pay them, has also wondered aloud why his lawyers cost so much, according to the people, who all spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive topic.

NEW: Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen is a full on TT live streamer and is accepting donations through the app by talking about Trump.

This is the saddest thing I've seen all week.

Cohen can be seen collecting "awards" and putting up "heart" gestures as he rakes in donations.

According to experts who spoke with ABC news, the TT live streams could damage Cohen's credibility even more than it already is.

"I’d be furious. As a prosecutor, the last thing you want your witness to do is to be talking about the case in a forum other than the courtroom," former Georgia prosecutor Chris Timmons said.

May deprive himself of the gag order's protection at this point

I'd be fine if Cohen eventually loses his protection under the gag order for this... but for the sake of fairness, he needs about thirty warnings, hearings, and appeals over the next six months before any judge does anything. Everyone is entitled to their rights in court after all. We wouldn't want the process to seem unfair to anyone.

Ah, yes, attacking the jury, the best trial strategy known to lawyers.

Well it’s pretty clear Trump’s idea is to be as rude to the judge and jury as possible to bait a reaction that he can use to whine about an unfair trial

I think you're giving him too much credit. He simply can't help himself to be a combative, obnoxious d***weed.

Seriously, how many times a juror has reacted because the defendant was rude to them?
Has there even been such cases?

Daus seems like another process-based witness -- annoying that we have to get so many of these because of Trump's lawyers' refusal to cooperate, but fine that the prosecution is peppering them throughout.
