NJ-10 filing deadline is over, here’s the list of candidates: https://newjerseyglobe.com/congress/heres-who-filed-in-the-special-election-primary-to-replace-donald-payne-jr/

Frontrunner is definitely McIver as she has the Essex County party’s endorsement, but it’s not over til it’s over!

Isn't the party line struck down for all Democratic ballots? Or was it just for the Senate race?

The line was only struck down for the Senate race in the recent lawsuit (although there’s another lawsuit that’s been going on for years now). There’s not going to be a line in this race though anyway, since there’s only one election to be held - it’s not like McIver would be placed next to Biden or Phil Murphy and gain an advantage that way, or like any of the other candidates would be placed off in Ballot Siberia. What the county endorsement means in this scenario is that McIver will be able to use the county’s slogan under her name on the ballot (in addition to support with organizing, fundraising, etc.). It remains to be seen how effective that will be either in this race or in general.

McIver has also gotten the Union County party endorsement, narrowly beating out favorite son Derek Armstead (who even had the support of his local rival, Senate President Nick Scutari). So that’s another notch in her belt and a blow to Armstead in particular, who could have shaped up as a major rival to her. The Hudson County endorsement will probably be a tough battle between her and county commissioner Jerry Walker.

Yes we all know the race for NJ-10 is going to be closely watched by Blexit diehards to see how many Black Democrats switch to the GOP to vote for Carmen Bucco... Tears of joy Tears of joy Tears of joy

Except his bid was over before it even got started, because we all know whichever Democrat wins the primary in July (likely LaMonica McIver) will have measured the drapes long before the September special election, let alone November the 5th. Not very many folks care about Blexit anyway, considering its lead champion has since disgraced herself amongst many conservatives over her spat with Ben Shapiro.

I don’t know if it’s going to be closely watched by anyone outside of northern New Jersey.

You do know that conservatives online were massively favouring Candace Owens' side over Ben Shapiro?
Shapiro lost more favor among conservatives than she did.
