This is a change election, Trump is a corrupted man and impeachment needs to be placed on him. Trump has not put any minorities in place in judgeships or cabinet position. 2020 may be a realignment like 2008

Grissom was the biggest bust as Ted Strickland, which had 1 poll leading Kobach by 10. Just like Strickland was leading Portman

If Dems are tied or ahead in AZ, CO, ME and NC to secure the Senate. There are other states aside from KS that can more than make up for it, KY, AK, TX and GA.

Having 7 vulnerable GOP senators is good news.

Kobach should not be elected to anything due to racial insensitivity. That's why he wasnt elected Gov and Trump is a weak Prez, where Dems can get a bunch of Senators elected in a wave. Trump has been trailing in every poll by 5-7 points to Biden, enough to repeat a 2008 and 2012 wave

Even if Pompeo doesn't run, this seat is unwinnable for Democrats. Every Senate race in 2016 went the same way as the Presidential race, and I don't see why it should be different in 2020. Even if Kobach is the nominee, it would take a tremendous amount of split tickets.

2018, it was a midterm and AZ voted R for Gov and Dem for Sen, ME, CO, KS, NC and SC can vote different ways for Prez and for Senate and Hilary was corrupted

In a 278 EC map Dems can win ME, CO, KS and AZ, KS is a Red state, but Kelly, just like Barb Bollier can transcend partisanship. Since Kobach, not moderate Pompeo is likely to run. But, if Pompeo runs, Dems should target NC, instead.
