Michigan state wins by 5 points this year continuing Tuckers dominance over Hairball, this won't be deleted.

Georgia fans in mourning as legendary head coach Vince Dooley, who guided the Bulldogs to six SEC titles, and the 1980 National Championship dies at 90.

What the Hell happened at BYU?

They just lost to East Carolina of all teams 27-24.

Wonder what the buyout is on that contract, because I feel like someone (Auburn? Nebraska? Wisconsin?) is going to pay it.

They lost because East Carolina (6-3, #54 in FPI, #60 in SP+) is a better football team than BYU (4-5, #65 in FPI, #76 in SP+). It's difficult to overstate how bad things are in Provo this season, especially since we've gotten accustomed to competent BYU. Some of us pointed out as much:
Friday, October 28thBYU is now 4-4 and needs to beat one of ECU, Boise or Stanford to make a bowl. Not a sure thing, and the latter two are road games.

Upset Alert???

With less than five minutes to go, Notre Dame leads #16 Syracuse 24-10.

Notre Dame is a one point favorite in this game (and I'm not sure how, they've played horribly all season).

You see how these two statements are contradictory, yes?

I did point out that I didn't think they should be favored, right?

Anyone watching Penn State vs Ohio State? I just got an anti-ukraine ad targeting Hispanic voters.

That's just, like, your opinion man

ARKANSAS leads Auburn 38-20 in the fourth quarter. Arkansas is a four point favorite, but I liked Auburn here. UPSET ALERT???

A four point favorite is a lot clearer than a one point favorite.

If the cards fall out correctly (one of Clemson, Oklahoma State or TCU has to have two or more losses), Penn State still could make a New Year's Six Bowl (almost certainly the Cotton. It would take a miracle for them to make the Rose Bowl at this point).

Idgaf about that bro we’ve made a crapton of BCS/NY6 bowls in my lifetime. I want phucking playoffs, if ya ain’t first you’re last. Idec if the SEC or Big 12 champ crushed them, PSU sends too many guys to the NFL every year to not breakthrough at least once. Hopefully Allar gives us the QB firepower to get over the hump the way LSU did with Burrow.

Okay, now you're just insulting me. TCU was favored by a touchdown in that game. Even by my generous description of what an upset is, that isn't one.

The Syracuse mystique has faded. Notre Dame defeats the Orange, 41-24.

It's still early, but we may have another "upset" on our hands.

With just over 8 minutes to go in the first quarter, #22 Kansas State leads #9 Oklahoma 14-0.

The Wildcats entered the game as two point favorites over the Cowboys (largely, I'd guess, because they are playing at home).

Virginia and Miami are tied 12-12 in fourth overtime. Without watching a minute of this game before now I can solidly name this one of the most disgusting games of the year.

Edit: immediately after this, Miami won in 4th OT 14-12. My point remains.

#22 Kansas State just destroying #9 Oklahoma State right now. It's currently 21-0 Wildcats with about ten minutes to go in the second quarter.

EDIT: Make that 28-0 Kansas State.

Given how we've been playing, it'll take a miracle.
