I see SUCH a double standard in anything regarding dating or sex. Google "sex scenes on TV" into recent news and you see a clear disparity.

If it's sex scenes featuring men with women, it's all serious and threatening.




But if it's gay or lesbian sex scenes, it's all fun and games and almost braggadocios.




Now if you said you wanted to crack down on all smut, I'd be okay with that. But this seems very deliberate to be against anything that is pro-heterosexuality and then glorify anything gay or lesbian. That's not equality, that's a double standard. I believe it is very deliberate. Look at those articles and don't you dare tell me there isn't some kind of anti-straight guy sentiment going on.

Lol at all these Franken equivalencies on this thread and so many others. You folks on the left can only use Franken as a defense since he stepped down. Had he chosen to fight the allegations, you all would've been standing right by his side. There were PLENTY of posters on this forum screaming "innocent until proven guilty" and imploring him to stay in the Senate when the allegations first came out, but hypocrites tend to forget the past.

Anyway, I hope the eloquent OP gets a nice subpoena one day for defaming and slandering a federal judge.

Take out NPR/PBS/Marist, Harvard-Harris, and Quinnipiac -- all possibly biased for the D's...and you get D+4!

I wonder if we'll get an R+something poll soon after that Kavanaugh debacle. Who knows...maybe the GCB will be something like R+1 at the end if things really break in favor for the GOP. I looked at quite a few polls from the 2016 Senate elections recently and noticed a pattern - many were accurate at predicting the percentage the Democratic candidate would get, and it didn't change much since early October. On top of that, the undecideds broke heavily for the GOP.

..notice how even the D favorables only have it at around 50%...that means even if they're accurate, undecideds could break massively for the GOP to the point where it's pretty much a tie --> no blue wave, no taking back the House!

And I wouldn't be surprised...people who are going to vote Democratic on November 6 have likely ALREADY decided by now. If you're still undecided after all the "we need a blue wave to put a check on Trump" propaganda, chances are you lean GOP.

If Graham is appointed Attorney General after the midterms... its the perfect opportunity for Haley to secure a job in the public eye for the next 4 years until its time for candidates to announce in 2022 (for the 2024 election).  Especially if Nikki thinks Trump may lose re-election (meaning she would be out of the public light from 2020-2022).  IF Senator in 2022... Haley would have Governor, Senator, and Ambassador to UN... and would be a very strong contender to be the Republican nominee in 2024.  (And she would almost definitely choose Marco Rubio as her running mate).

So- is she a big enough threat for Dems to think about choosing a 2020 ticket that would withstand a battle against Haley/Rubio in 2024?
