Says he is on FOX. Plus, he's pausing for the applause.

Eh, maybe I'm wrong.

Cindy McCain's sitting with Bush Sr?  Every human life is precious and must be defended...oh, come on Bush, you know better than to echo a Monty Python song.

McCain's a maverick and wants to drill offshore.  He thinks for himself.  Bush knows McCain's honest.  McCain saved Bush's surge.  (How is that mavericky?)  "McCain would rather lose an election than see his country lose a war."  Sigh.

"We live in a dangerous world."  9/11.  Protect America.  Offense.  McCain.  Bush is so much easier to watch with closed captioning.  "Strong and principled governor as Vice President, Sarah Palin."  Has Bush actually met her?

Bush has a painting of a West Texas mountain...why?  Optimism?  How is that connected?

Freedom's power to lift God's children...something.  The captioning's going too fast.

It's hard to for me to see how that speech would hurt McCain.

The point was just seeing Bush in primetime hurts. It looks like the big three didn't cover it so it won't be a big deal.

Bush says he has a wonderful wife, closes speech, God Bless America.  It's over.

Oh, someone's put on CBS on the other TV, and Bush is on that too, earlier.

Laura's talking about Darfur and Cindy McCain.

Applause.  Great things from John, John can expect great things from the American people.

Yeah. It will take someone coming out of the closet to make this thing interesting. Then again, the entire "Juneau" thing...

Yelling into a mic, an exciting speech does not make.

I’m actually liking Thompson’s speech. He’s energetic, for him. Firing up the crowd nicely.
