Worse than Trump 2020, but maybe still narrowly better than Trump 2024.

Its slowly showing that Desantis would do worst that Trump 2020 in a lot places outside of extremely online Republicans and Florida.

Yeah I don’t see how a candidate focused on abortion, gay rights, and corporate censorship is gonna outflank Trump anywhere really, but least of all the suburbs. DeSantorum might run a few points better in low income, highly religious Hispanic and immigrant precincts in a few cities like LA, NYC, Houston (or maybe not since he’s decided to antagonize Latinos since the last election). But the suburbs? Someone here said he would do better in suburban Denver. That’s insane. People here are very against the whole culture wars stuff. Chris Christie would do better. Even Tim Scott might. But the guy who just made a homoerotic advertisement hating on gay people? No

Better than Trump. The republicans who did the worst in 2022 with suburban/college ed whites openly embraced Trump and his election truthism. It makes little sense these people would vote for the person who they overwhelmingly rejected in 2022
