Yet I get attacked when I call Republicans traitors.........

I would recommend, but I no longer have the ability to do so for calling a spade a spade.

That's what police departments in those cities are for. Why would Congress investigate murders at the local level? That is completely stupid.

At this point Pelosi should just move forward and have the commission investigate however it sees fit.

I mean they can certainly have all the hearings they want without R buy-in can't they?

Maybe Democrats are cucks, but they'll never be as big of cucks as the GOP.

Yet again Democrats offer a bipartisan olive branch only to be summarily rejected. They can now create the commission themselves and also have the moral high ground.

The Rs know that Manchin won't reform the Filibuster as long as they have him blocking reform, then they can object to the D agenda, this bill won't be stopped in the H but it can in the Senate

Manchin needs to grow a backbone, all the Rs are taking solice in Manchin blocking Statehood and Election reform and Police Reform

It's no use to keep the Filibuster, when Rs kept the H Majority for 12 yrs they didn't say we must keep certain rules in case the D's get back in charge, no they didn't

Exactly this. They're also throwing John Katko under the bus, who negotiated this compromise in good faith.

Well, most Republicans fully support what happened on the 6th. This isn't surprising. What is surprising is that Democrats still think they can negotiate with these people.

It's Probably gonna be a Neutral Environment 51/49 Senate but who knows WARNOCK, BEASLEY AND RYAN ARE WAVE INSURENCE

UNCLE JOE ISNT AT 59% HE IS EXACTLY AT 51%

We know because DeSantis is leading by six ptdms and Trump won FL by 3 pts, if D's can't cut into the lead in R +3 state how can they win OH /R +8 state

In a 51/49 Environment WI, MI and PA are secure, we know this due to fact Biden is up 4 in a non IPSOS poll, throw IPSOS away

As French Republican, and I don't quote him often Uncle Joe as he said to President Johnson, he isn't at 59%

I think most Republicans in Congress genuinely don't and their initial bipartisanship on this was legit. They are just constantly seeing and learning how many of their often self-picked, gerrymandered constituents do support January 6th, think the election was stolen, and are not willing to give their representatives an ounce of support (and in some cases worse) unless they keep the faith for Trump.

So who do we have? Presumably the 10 impeachers (Kinzinger, Cheney, Katko, Valadao, Meijer, Rice, Newhouse, JHB, Gonzalez and Upton). Who else joined?

Yes, the final tally was 252-175.  There were 35 R yes votes, including all 10 impeachers.

Kevin McCarthy has no control over his caucus. He is never going to be Speaker.

Bentz, Bice, Gimenez, Guest, Jacobs, and of course Rice all voted against certification.

NJ voters need to make a concerted effort next year to get Jeff Van Drew the hell out of there.

~17% of Republicans voting for it means that it's still DOA in the Senate unless & until they go nuclear.

No Young Kim or Michelle Steel. The Dems need to aggressively target them in the midterms.
