I'm not sure whether this bit of trivia has been mentioned, but this is the first time that a World Series game will be held on Election Day.

BRAVES WIN!!!!!!!

Truly one of the most amazing late seasons runs I’ve ever seen. They were dead in the water in mid-July.

I fully expect to hear about a sign stealing investigation in the next few months.

And plenty of usage for their racist tomahawk chop in the meantime.

Anyway, on to 2022.

Good for the Braves. Great payback for MLB stealing the All-Star Game.

Happy the Braves won. Hoping that this isn't the last game before at least part of the 2022 season is shut down due to a strike or lockout.

Accolades and so forth (/s)

Congrats to the Braves, though. God bless you for vanquishing our mutual enemy--the Houston Astros.

Fun fact: there hasn’t been a WS winner that has clinched on their home field since 2013.  Every champion since then has clinched either on the road or at a neutral site.  The streak continued last night.

That is a very odd fact considering that home field is an advantage in baseball because the home team bats last.  Although the Braves were road warriors this year; in the regular season they had a better road record (+11) than home record (+4).

End of the road for the Astros, I just regret that Astros played this poorly and White Sox or Oakland could of made it to awrkd Series and beat the Braves, but Braves aren't a Dynasty, Rams  with Von Miller will dominate the League this yr and next yr and the best team to succeed Brady 7 titles, he has win enough and Chiefs playing so poorly

Kelce and Kittle have both declined since 2o20 Superbowl, I remember Kittle are up Saints that yr with Little and he hasn't been the same

Wrld Series had an all time low to see Braves win

Dodgers or Giants it would have been better to watch

Another fun fact and continued streak - a different winner every year since 2013. 8 unique champs.

Giants without Posey are gonna sux watching them especially in SF it's gonna be like how Warriors were after Durant

But, except for Blk pitchers, Giants have made no moves to get Blk Dominican players except for Sandoval during their title run

There aren't any catchers left either, Grandall, Fmr Dodger is their best bet he played for Dodgers but he is with White Sox, he might leave next yr, not this yr , Tony La, Russa said he only wants to coach 1 more uyr pending a Wrld Title run

Anyone standing near the doors in Cincinnati is seeing that it's exit only.  It will be interesting to see who they bring in.

Running through the list in my mind, I think that this is the second-longest such streak ever, behind 1978 to 1987 (Yankees, Pirates, Phillies, Dodgers, Cardinals, Orioles, Tigers, Royals, Mets, Twins).

Dodgers are slowly becoming less if a Wrld Title team in Cali and Rams and Dubs are becoming Title teams, Max Scherzer is signing with Giants due to fact the Dodgers wants sign Taylor and Trea Turner

But, Justin Turner is getting old like LeBron he was good enough to win that 1 title but Betts, Turner and Taylor must not strike out, they gotta hit homers in the post season

All signs point to Seagar, Kershaw and Scherzer leaving and signing Trea Turner to a multi deal along with Taylor

Congrats to the Angels to having the two most exciting and transformational players of a generation and continuing to blow year after year.
