Very glad the Dodgers are gone, but in overall picture…Astros-Braves is a very boring matchup (easily the most boring of the possible four from the LCS; Braves-Sox, Astros-Dodgers and Sox-Dodgers all have sone history of note).


But hey. Lack of history has never prevented a series from being good. I’ll be supporting the Braves b/c of my guys Duvall and Adrianza.

Seagar, Kershaw are gonna leave the team they were disasters in the post season, but they get nothing for them because they're free agents, the Dodgers need a backup Catcher Barnes isn't any good

Bit those are the ones leaving Seagar underperformed he hit a bunch of Homers last yr, overpaid athlete, Betts is signed thru 2030 but need to pay him less

I feel like there are way too many teams you hate in every sport.  I could honestly name far more teams I like (even beyond my favorite team in every sport) than teams I have any level of dislike for (probably only Cowboys, Patriots, Mets, Ohio State football, Notre Dame football, Tennessee football- but only in a "like to laugh at them" type of way-, Kentucky basketball).  There are obviously other teams I'll cheer against in a regular season for the purpose of division standings, but that doesn't necessarily mean I don't like them if they make the playoffs.

The Braves are gonna win they haven't won since 1995 and the Astros went to Wrld Series in 2005/ with Craig Buggio and 2017 they won it, it's time for BRAVES

Astros-Braves is of course a bizarre matchup because the World Series shouldn't be contested between two NL West teams, but aside from that it's cool to see Houston and Atlanta. There are very few really big American cities that have as much in common as these two. Houston always struck me as being like Atlanta but with proximity to the sea instead of proximity to the mountains, and even though that means that Houston is worse I've always figured that I could enjoy living there.

Dusty Baker was the Giants' manager when I learned to love baseball and I'd be happy for him if he finally won, but it's weird to see him representing the American League and anyway I have too many reasons to root for the Braves, not least of which is that they took out the dastardly Dodgers.

Did you know Pence learned everything he needed to know about sign stealing he was an Astro and SF Giants, that's why he slayed the Dodgers he stole bases, Things change and The Braves will beat the Astros because they haven't won the World Series since 1995.

Braves haven't won Wrld Series since 1995/ Astros won it in 2017/ and Pence was an Astro won titles 3 with Giants, it's about time Freddy Freeman wins one, Chipper Jones didn't win, this will get Freddie into Hall of Fame
