Calling it now: Youngkin will be Trump's running mate in 2024.

Nah I could actually see him trying to run for re-election in 2029 and that would kill his chances.
Youngkin did well because his brand wasn't tied to Trump. Why would he kill that in a single stroke by associating himself with the man?

My Braves are about to make this a perfect night

The Braves, at least, we can agree on.

Everyone can agree on the Braves aside from people from Houston.

Youngkin with 106k lead with 92% in. If it keeps going down by 10k until 100%, Youngkin will have a 26k vote victory which would be a win but close.

My poor fingers are starting to hurt now because of how many times I'm punching in numbers into my TI-84 to find the margins   Cry

94% in with 90k lead. It's going to be close at the end but I'm feeling Youngkin by 1-1.5 as of now.

What margin triggers a recount?

No automatic recounts. A candidate has the right to ask for a recount if it's within 1%. If it's under half a point you can ask for a recount and the state will pay for it. If it's between 0.5-1%, You can still ask for a recount but you have to pay for it yourself.

McAuliffe - loss
Murphy - presumable loss
India Walton - loss
Minnesota Policing Reform - loss
Virginia Democratic Control - lost

What the hell do we do? lol. Tonight seems to be a rejection of Dems in general.

Doomers take the W tonight.

I think we might all have to collectively take back our predictions for Youngkin to win.

Something is wrong with the Washington Post tracker. They have McAuliffe ahead in Frederick County 69% to 30%, when Trump won it with 62%.
