Just a reminder that Eharding called an Ossoff 2028 Presidential run 3.5 years ago.

So I guess we have proven beyond doubt, that promising people COLD HARD CASH, is a lot more effective than whatever the hell the Democrats have been running on as of late.

Andrew Yang certainly had the right idea back in the primaries.

If Yang had charisma and didn't support that weird social credit thing, he'd likely have won the primary.

🛑 playing.

LOL, the gap is 19k.

OSOFF IS NOT WINNING. Holy sh**t I’ll take apologies in writing.

The lynch mob mentality in this group is hilarious

A hysterical & pitiful yearlong fall from grace fom "100% fools gold" to "Biden won't pull it off" to "Perdue is avoiding a runoff" to "Neither Warnock/Ossoff will win the runoffs" to "Ossoff won't pull it off" (With a little "Markey is going down" for good measure).

As someone who wouldn't shut up about Dems chances in Texas, stop moving goalposts and accept a f**ing L for once.

I know you won't so, from here on out, will you shut up man?

Every single poll we conducted of these runoffs was accurate, and it looks like we nearly nailed turnout.

We adopted Ann Selzer's methodology.

I’ll ban myself for a month and Venmo someone $50 on election night if it goes the Democrats way: Georgia Special, South Carolina, Kentucky

Don't forget to ban yourself too!

I meant that on election night.

But offer still stands is BOTH Dems win.

(Someone would have had to sort out who gets the $50 if it were to happen)

Brucejoel got dibs.

And it's happening, sweetheart

Ashamed of my state once again.  Georgia is a blue state now, and its sad we let the country down.

This loss is 100% on Trump.  That Dumba$$ convinced enough people in rural Georgia this was rigged and their vote didn't matter.  Idiocracy!!!!!!!!!!!

SMFH Georgia
I agree. I think the Republican Party should shift away from right-wing populism and move back towards how it was under Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush. All of the right-wing populists need to leave the Republican Party and form their own political party.

Trump and Reagan are very similar. Two deadbrains who inspired cults to support their horrifically bad economic policies. F*** em both.
At least Ronald Reagan was not a fascist. I would enthusiastically pick Ronald Reagan over Donald Trump at any time.

Me too, and I DESPISED Reagan.

How many times do we have to teach you this lesson young man?

But seriously, it seems like you have some personal beef with Georgia that goes beyond typical Atlas doomerism. Is there some personal history there?

He flipped two previously deep red states (AZ and GA) blue and both will have two Democratic senators, giving us a trifecta.

If there was any doubt Trump was a failed president for his party before, it's gone now. Don't be surprised if they start to lose faith and look elsewhere.

The writers came up with a great twist in having the Republicans lose the Senate because Trump had to be a whiny b!tch for two months but they refused to support him on the one thing he wanted that was popular. Also bringing back Ossoff, a forgotten character from the first act and making him one of the big heroes at the end was an interesting touch.
I may have posted a quote from you in the awful takes thread earlier today, but damn, this is a quality post.

Objectively that's true, but that doesn't really matter to the Trump cult.

Andrew Yang certainly had the right idea back in the primaries.
Hopefully the Democrats won’t snub him next time. The media’s erasure of Yang was one of the most disgusting things I saw in this election cycle.
