I just hope that this will be a wakeup call to the people that don't take the virus seriously.

if he gets over it then it will just reinforce that it's fake for all of them.

This makes all the discussion of whether the 2nd debate might be canceled sort of moot

Doesn't it

Trump might be dead by the time the debate comes around, given COVID's disease progression.

Again, Biden REAALLY needs to get tested.

Broke: Hoping Joe Biden becomes the 46th President of the United States.

Woke: Hoping Joe Biden becomes the 47th President of the United States.

What were all those smart remarks about Joe Biden being in the basement and wearing a mask? Anyone want to make jokes now?

He brought this on himself. He did not take the pandemic seriously. Normally I would feel some empathy for a fellow human being who tests positive for COVID-19, but in this case, I am unable to muster it.

I mean realistically Biden and Trump were at podiums which looked well in excess of six feet apart, and never were in each other's faces.

The odds that Biden is actually at risk is extremely low. Get tested, still. But lets not unnecessarily freak out.

I know. I hope that doesn't happen.

My grandparents are getting old and they live in a small town that's full of Trump supporters that don't take the virus seriously and it worries them quite a bit.

EDIT: I should add, I'm not hoping for anything bad to happen to the Trumps, but I hope that if he recovers he doesn't try to use it as a method of convincing people that the virus is not to be taken seriously.

This is insane.

And before someone mentions it again, there is no preordained sympathy bump in the works for the President. There seems to be some unwritten rule that whenever an unforeseen development comes to pass in this election, it benefits Trump by default.

But we are in truly uncharted territory now.

You are seriously overestimating how bad this virus is even for his age.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Hicks with Trump on AF1 after the debate? So Biden really has nothing to worry about.

Yeah, that’s what I fear. If he gets over it easily, like most people, he’ll just boast about it and say that it really isn’t a big deal and the country should open up.

Knowing the Writers, there are only two possible outcomes:

1. Nothing happens

2. He passes away

This season is dangerously close to jumping the shark, guys. You need to take it down a notch!

Right, and then it's a guessing game of when Trump got it, and even then when he might have been able to spread it.

Assuming Biden even was at risk by being near Trump, you're talking particles having flown in excess of 6 feet in a very open space.

I said it already, but given Trump's age and poor health habits, I'll be very surprised if he survives.

We should probably be preparing to swear in President Pence any day now.

Silvio Berlusconi, an octogenarian with a penchant for nights of wild debauchery, got COVID and survived.

He'll get the best doctors in the country. He's probably fine.
