This Tesla shareholder would like to unironically thank President Trump for saying he loves electric cars on national tv.

What do the anti-Wallace people here think a different moderator would have done that might have improved things? Nobody is going to be able to keep these two in line. Nobody. The only options are try your very hardest to keep them under control or just let them yell at each other with exactly zero control of the topic or who is speaking when.

I wonder why Obama left so many judges for Trump to appoint?  Roll Eyes  It's not like Republican obstruction had anything to do with it. Not to mention all the empty low-level cabinet posts under the Trump administration.

This is a definitely a low point of the Obama administration.

I won't defend Wallace's performance, but I don't think any moderator would've looked good here. How could anyone possibly maintain order in this setting? Especially since he presumably doesn't have the ability to cut off the mic of the person who isn't talking.

Joe Biden uses statistics that sound reasonable. Trump uses code words.

Trump tries to link Joe Biden to the "radical left" just as Trump seems to be losing moderate conservatives. Earth to Trump: there are far more moderate conservatives than there are radical leftists. If I am Joe Biden I would take 500,000 votes from moderate conservatives than 100,000 votes from radical leftists. I prefer having voters for me who might be unreliable as voters in the next election than supporters who are gross embarrassments from Inauguration Day.

I really liked Chris Wallace moderating the 2016 debate.

Too bad this will probably be the last debate he ever moderates

I'm not sure about this, but Wallace was much better in 2016 then he has been tonight. Trump and Biden constantly interrupting each other has made it a difficult task for him, and his pleas for them to keep within time constraints and to avoid interruptions are falling on deaf ears.

I've know doubt he'd do a much better job if someone else was standing to his front-left. I just don't know if other folks see it that way

I think this debate is going to cause people not to vote.  I could see turnout lower than most expected.  Both candidates look like sh*t tonight!

Honestly, you could copy and paste this every five minutes for the rest of the debate and you'd basically sum it all up.

can't believe how out of touch this site is.  Trump is losing this debate badly.  He's coming off like a clown to anyone but hyperpartisans who follow this stuff all the time.  This is not going to help Trump win suburban white women or old voters.

If I see even one person Chicken Littleing over a poll this weekend showing 1-2 point movement to Trump and crediting it to the debate, I may have to take a sabbatical here until November 4

Hahaha, Donald bringing up our Austrian forest cities and management again.

„I talked with a leader of a major European country about Forest Management. I think his name was Shorty and he lived in the Woodviertel. He lives in a forest city, they have great forest management. No exploding trees there like in California !“
