Hot take: This debate will be very uneventful in the grand scheme of things and will not change the election.

I'm frankly just tuning in because one of my professors said that we get two bonus points added onto our final class percentages if we watch the debates and write a short blurb about any mentions of COVID.

They're highlighting "EVERY 30 MINUTES" as though that's not a completely normal period for commercial breaks.

Next up:  WEAK Cincinnati Bengals request a break EVERY 30 MINUTES during NFL game.  Is this evidence that LOW ENERGY JOE BURROW is sick and weak and can't go 45 minutes without a steroid injection?

Didn't expect anything different.  

Joe isn't exactly having a spectacular night this far, but Trump is at his worst when he's allowed to just keep going and going and going, trying to fill in silence with more words.

I think most people watching this debate save for extreme Trump supporters would like Trump to shut up and stop interrupting so they can hear some actual answers in this debate. Biden is speaking for half of the country.

You sometimes hear it even from ardent Trump supporters: I love him, but sometimes, he needs to stop talking and hop off Twitter.  

As I said higher up in this thread, Trump is most prone to say bizarre or offensive things when he's just left to talking.  He seems to have this need to keep talking and talking, dominating a conversation.

Trump usually comes off as charismatic in his past debates because of his sense of humor, even if it’s not for everyone. He had nothing of that this night and came off as too desperate.

I work in a 70% Trump county.  I came to work today and every one of my coworkers said the debate left them with bad impressions of both candidates, but mostly Trump. Some said it gave them anxiety.

These are Trump voters, who think he did poorly.

My wife reported a similar reaction from her coworkers, who are almost all MAGA and Qanon believers (also in Forsyth County, which I believe is where you said you worked).
