Biden is doing a much better job rebutting Trump's attacks and hitting at him directly than Hillary Clinton did. With someone like Trump, it's necessary for one to be aggressive. He's also specifically highlighting the flaws in Trump's record.

I think most people watching this debate save for extreme Trump supporters would like Trump to shut up and stop interrupting so they can hear some actual answers in this debate. Biden is speaking for half of the country.

This debate is a train wreck, but it also won't change anything. Biden will win in a landslide. It's not incompatible.

People will pretty much impose their own views of the candidate when deciding who is winning the debate (their candidate always wins). It's why debates have become so unimportant and don't move the needle overall.
