I'm looking forward to Sen. Harris' response to Trump's speech.

Do we know what time today?

I'm not sure.

This whole convention has been fantastic.

Blasting the warmongering elite. Fking love it
I freaking love the new GOP.

If the new GOP hates warmongering, then why does our fat bloated military keep getting absurd budget increases?
Has that budget been used to launch a massive (and unjustified) invasion of Iraq? No? What about the wars with Iran and North Korea? What ever happened to that? Just because he's stupidly expanding our military doesn't mean he intends to use it. In fact, Trump has repeatedly shown extreme restraint on the global stage.
Then why are we still in Afghanistan if Trump is "anti war"?
Do you live under a rock? The Taliban and the US are holding peace talks. Who’d have ever imagined that in like 2002.

We'll see what happens with the rest of the nights, but the final #s are in for the broadcast nets (ABC/CBS/FOX) for the first 2 nights, and they were both under DNC:

DNC broadcast night 1: 6.7 million
RNC broadcast night 1: 5.2 million

DNC broadcast night 2: 6.7 million
RNC broadcast night 2: 6.1 million

These are just 3 broadcast nets, b/c RNC caught up to DNC overall on night 2. But what is interesting is that to me, the broadcast nets provide the most "regular" viewers (more political/in tuned junkies likely watch on cable), so RNC still trailing DNC in probably the "normie" viewers.

Early #s for Night 3 not that great for broadcast... 4.9 million in early estimates, similar to night 1.  Early estimate for night 3 of DNC was 5.9 million.

Trump blathering from the Oval Office about Confederate statues, the best economy in history, and mean lefties on Twitter while his supporters in southwestern Louisiana are picking through the rubble of their houses wouldn't be a good look. (Of course it would never make them consider voting for someone else either.)

Why should they, over a natural disaster Trump nor any President has any control over?

Bush abandoned Louisiana after Katrina. Trump abandoned Puerto Rico after Maria.

Barack Obama rose to the occasion after Sandy.

Democrats competently manage natural disasters; Republicans do not.

TIL FEMA corruption and incompetence = Bush bad?

The failures in Katrina (if any) had nothing to do with Bush.

Someone on Twitter said it'll be 3:00, so way before Trump's speech.

So the conventions so far look to be about a wash.

WTF is literally the matter with you? What level of packery does that require? New paragraph, corruption and mismanagement was directly related to Bush's complete lack of leadership and cronyism. He removed long time professional Emergency Management officials who had serious background at the state level and did a great job at the national Level under the Clinton Administration handling disasters. Who did Bush, let me repeat that, bush replace the head of FEMA with? And old college roommate with absolutely zero experience in the matter. Brownies most recent job was as president of the American Quarter Horse Association! And he even got fired from that!!

Respond to Uber partisan hacks like you, but that level of stupid take just can't go past.

You be screaming and whining and complaining decades later if Obama had put a complete unqualified crony in charge of FEMA who blundered the entire process. And you know what? You'd be right in doing so.

Wow, that's a stunning abuse of their rights to privacy, the uses of their voices, image, etc. Protecting your right to control how your face & voice are used is why we have photo releases & the like. It's an appalling lack of consideration that they did this without informed consent.

I've muted Bagel23 from the thread for 24 hours.

That's not good enough. He deserves an outright ban

You don't have to like me, but please spare the hypocritical fake outrage man, it is so painfully obvious.

Doubtful. I'm pretty certain they'll be all wearing masks.
Unless of course you mean some poor OANN or Breitbart "journalist".
