I just don't care anymore. Many Jewish faith leaders, activists, and organizations like Hadassa have supported Black Lives Matter (the organization itself - I stand with the black community's movement to end structural racism in law enforcement, but the BLM organization itself is a front for "trained Marxists") as well as all kinds of "social justice" causes from the caravan to the Muslim ban. Many of these people, including Edward Mosberg, are now seeing the chickens come home to roost.

Smith probably would lose if Trump was running particularly close in Minnesota (or if Klobuchar  was atop the ballot, as that means Trump would probably doing much better in Minnesota, up to a possible win).

I have this as Likely D.

While Trump likely will lose Minnesota, and Jason Lewis is a horrible candidate, I wouldn't completely rule just enough voters splitting their ballots to give Lewis a victory while also voting for Biden.

That said, another poll with this size margin, and I'd probably be convinced to move this one to  Safe D.

Michael Moore wrongly predicted the victories of Al Gore, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, but since he happened to get it right on the fourth try, he’s now some election guru.

What about 2004? In fairness, Gore actually did sort of win in 2000...

Because Biden has alienated white voters somehow, and Trump's fear mongering is working. Same exact strategy Bush used in 02/03 to gain public support for invading Iraq and in 04 for his re-election. Doesn't matter than none of it was based in facts, politics is about emotions. Trump has evoked white anxiety in a huge segment of our population.

Biden is finished, he's very likely gonna lose worse than McGovern. I think he might struggle to crack 10% of the white vote.

The fact that COVID is surging in states with the toughest restrictions and lockdowns discredits the idea that restrictions can contain COVID and even the idea of wearing masks. This will help Trump a lot.

The risk and reward points to the reward of opening up the economy and facing the reality that some of our oldest won't make it. It is less damaging and less painful to do what Trump wants then to close to economy down for the next 2 years.

It is insane to close the economy down any longer. People die. It is sad but it is life.

Also, all the talking heads on CNN calling this a literal "insurrection" will get what they're asking for.  If you go too far in demonizing these protesters/rioters, then you will invariably create the very demons you're supposedly petrified by. 

Law enforcement has learned to deescalate situations for the sake of public safety (which appears to be what's going on at the moment); I only wish our news media had the same sense of civic responsibility.
