Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has apologized for a series of anti-Semitic Instagram posts over the weekend, one of which included a quote about Jews falsely attributed to Adolf Hitler.

Jackson later wrote that his original post had been misinterpreted, according to screenshots taken by various news organizations. However, in a different post, he shared a specific paragraph referencing a Jewish plan to "extort America" and achieve "world domination."

I mean, he had to, after all the condemnation and pressure from his fellow professional athletes, right?  I thought what Drew Brees said was controversial, but boy, quoting Adolf Hitler to attack Jews really set off a stampede of athletes speaking out.

The Midwest is particularly egregious with this stuff. I grew up not far from Massillon Ohio, where every baby boy born at the local hospital is given a stuffed football.. because what else could boys want out of life besides getting their head smashed in?

Kaepernick isn't looking for compromise, understanding, or constuctive solutions.  The less attention we give him, the more attention we can give to serious people who don't have to come up with a hustle to make money because their career is over due to injuries and being overrated as a player.
