So every single white person thinks he's innocent. Right.

We have plenty of evidence to the contrary in just this thread alone.

Rodney King, George Zimmerman, Michael Dunn at his first trial, Michael Slager, the list goes on and on.
Amber Guyger?

Also your post implies that literally every single white person in the country without exception would vote to acquit. That's evidently not the case.

Yeah okay, one white juror, no.

Twelve white jurors from the suburbs where Chauvin lives, on the other hand?

Even r/ProtectAndServe and Free Republic want to roast this guy. A mostly white suburb where Trump barely broke 40% probably isn't more favorable than those places.

You forget ofc that the jurors will have to be selected as people who aren't really aware of the situation and its aftermath. The defense will use their legalese spin while I'm not yet convinced that the DA's office actually wants a conviction here. Public opinion won't play a factor.

Find 12 people in Minnesota who are unaware of this or the aftermath? Uh, good luck.

Chauvin is getting off. Guaranteed. Will be found not guilty on both charges.

"no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation". "Underlying health conditions". This is the same sh*t with the autopsy that got Pantaleo off in the Eric Garner case... it worked then and it'll work here.

"The combined effects of Mr Floyd being restrained by police, (etc), contributed to his death"

You can practically hear them saying "If it wasn't for his pre-existing health issues, he would've been fine!  It's his own fault!"

Such total crap.

From the description 3rd degree murder sounds exactly right for this. A defense attorney could easily create doubt as to whether it was premeditated and then he would walk.

On another note he was arrested within a few days. He was not a particular threat to flee so there was no need to do it earlier. You don't get to complain about prisons being overcrowded if you think every single murder suspect should get immediately arrested before they've even been indicted. This is being handled more or less appropriately so far and everyone is just overreacting to every single detail.

The man is heard over and over again, begging for air ... for the ability to please breathe.
How can they say it's not due to "asphyxia or strangulation."
That's BS.

That's why they stuck him saying he couldn't breathe before being on the ground in there. Shadow of a doubt and all that.

^ can someone preemptively mute this POS

Freedom of speech doesn't exist for non-communists.

There's plenty of free speech for people advancing your interpretation of events on other platforms, such as Facebook and Stormfront.

My interpretation is that it was a senseless stupid event, that if it can be found that the police did pre-preemptively murder someone, they should be put on a trial and put in prison. But you and I both know that the guilt for these events isn't just going to be made to lie with the genuinely guilty alone, my dear communist friend. There will be article after article in which all white people are assigned collective believe. Your side loves that "collective" BS. Instead of just actually punishing the actually guilty.

It's a ploy to cast doubt on the victim's moral character. What else would it be?

I can't endorse the riots and obviously do not approve of them, but I think it is very telling that such a large proportion of the African-American community feels the need to riot.  Whether or not the number of blacks killed by police is significantly different from them as a proportion of the population seems irrelevant to me in this case, as there obviously is a belief that African-Americans (and the population at large) are being treated unfairly by the police.

While I wish this did not happen this way, now that it has, I hope it will be a wakeup call and that steps will be taken to prevent misuse of force in the future.

I completely understand how you feel. Sadly, it takes sad events like this to be the catalysts for change and progress sometimes. It is often a messy process, it shouldn't have to be, but it is.
