Komšić is not good. The dude is basically a second Bosniak representative, because the numerically larger Bosniak electorate have effectively hijacked the Croat election by voting on the ballot for the Croat representative, on which only Croats are supposed to vote. His votes come from villages where there are almost no Croats. It's a massive undermining of the Dayton agreement and the Constitutional Court has ruled it unconstitutional, but the Bosniak parties veto any attempt to fix the Issue, because monopolizing the 2/3 presidential seats is inherently in their favour.

Long-term this is not a particularly smart thing for the Bosniaks to do, because it forces Croats and Croatia have to rely on Dodik to advocate on their behalf (as they did with the Pelješac Bridge for instance), strengthening Dodik's Position and keeping Bosnia tied closer to Serbia, while pissing off the EU country (Croatia), that was once a big advocate of their Membership. All developments that are, like, really not in their interest.
