Sounds like it's time for Bernie to drop the "Democratic" part from his "Democratic Socialist" self-identification. Liberal democracy never was and never could be a path towards socialism.

Scandinavia says hi.

Scandinavian countries aren't socialist. They are mixed market economies like every other developed economy; they simply have had a more successful labor movement that effectively affected change in society and government policies (which have been slowly deconstructed by the interests of capital and their representatives over the past several decades).

The real question here is: Does Biden's strength in the WWC/Rural Dem counties translate to the general? If so, Trump is done.

Seems more like Sanders is particularly weak with WWC, not that Biden is particularly strong.

At least some pundits are realizing that sexism played a role in Bernie doing well in 2016.

C'mon. How much of it was actual sexism, and how much was aversion to Hillary Clinton personally?
A lot of it was sexism, look at what happened to every female candidate this year.

They were pushed forward despite their horrible campaigns by women who would vote for them no matter what?

With Biden winning these convincing victories in the primaries, without the 4 percent Gary Johnson took from Hilary, Trump is gonna lose MI, WI, and PA. MI is a 51/47 D state, its obvious,  Johnson took those 4 points away from Hilary

No longer arguing with Bernbots. It is time to coalesce around our presumptive nominee Joseph Biden.

This is the attitude that I'm afraid of. Sanders' supporters still compose a significant segment of Democratic base (smaller that I'd like to, but still), and Democratic Party should think about reconciling the wings, rather than marginalizing one of them. So I hope you've been referring to hacks rather than Sanders' supporters in general.

This is the end of the line for Bernie Sanders.  It’s time to drop out, and support the candidate who will be the nominee.  Taking this to the convention will only help Trump.

Rural areas that are all or mostly counted are swinging 20-50 points away from Sanders. Pretty brutal stuff.

Biden’s continued dominance in suburban and rural areas is incredible.

Burb-stomping. Though I suspect the precinct count is an error.

The burbs are going to be responsible for making Trump a one-term president. Trump will get credit for turning the suburbs blue for at least a generation. Quote me later.
