Eh, you have to see it in context actually. That's probably why this place doesn't have a Comedy Goldmine, while it's funnier than Atlas, all the funny stuff must viewed in context.

So if you knew that it wouldn't be funny for the rest of us who don't know the context, why did you post it here anyway?

From Josh's attention whoring thread:

So anyway, I was like all up ons in the neighborhood, and my buddy Mike, who is like totally down with da left, was all like "let's go play some b-ball or something", and I was like "which one? Baseball or Basketball", and he was like "Shut up f****t", and then Josh22 showed up and TOTALLY ruined Christmas for everybody.  Damn, I hate that guy.

Most important issue today....

The fact that abortion is available on demand, even limiting it to the usual exceptions would be a good start.  Gay marriage is quite high up their to, and Bob Menendez and Jon Corzine are close.

no, but you're not going to sway him not to biblethump with this thread (unfortunately)

What'd be even funnier if he posted something like

Ezekiel 5;39: Do not listen to red avatars, for the blue ones speak the truth
Numbers 3;33: Opebo will go to hell
Psalms 7;2: Everyone who posts on the electionatlas that doesn't agree with these quotes will die

Unintentionally funny:

I know it is impossible to predict a winner logically, but I still think Healey will win.

I've altered my prediction to flip WA and NJ around. Cantwell holds WA, Menendez loses NJ.

Seems like a lot of people are flocking to this prediction Smiley

Sorry, Conan and Smash, want to join the bandwagon of justice or keep living in Democratic fantasy land?

The phrase "bandwagon of justice" cracks me up.

A reminder that this topic isn't for:

1. Posting opinions that are unpopular/widely believed incorrect because they are "funny" only because they are so ridiculous.  Unless everyone finds it funny because it's one that is just totally outrageous, don't bother.  Partisan hackery is amusing, but causes arguments here.

2. Defending quoted posts.  For God's sake, it's an Internet message board.  Clarification isn't funny, and this thread is FOR FUNNY ONLY.

I've had to delete a lot of stuff here.  One of them (Virginian's) I deleted before realising that it could have been posted for a different reason than just #1, so feel free to re-post it if you really want.

Why did the country vote for Bush in 2004 and he was unpopular as well? I agree with you that Washington isn't like the rest of the south but having an incumbant in the WH does give advantages to the party that is challenging the outparty. I was refering to the spending bills on defense spending not social spending bills like tax cuts. The country wants continued support of defense build up and Cantwell might not fit that bill. She hasn't vote  for all of Bush defense authorization bills.

Confusing D.C. with the state.  Wow.

Are you going to call for a banning now?  After all, this is your home state.  Don't they still have Jim Crow laws down there?

Absolutely.

Last night, I went to a Mexican restaurant and the waiter was all like, "hola amigos."  I sure told him!  If he's going to be serving me delicious Mexican foods, he better be doing it in English, damn it.

In order to protect our skies from terrorism, I came up with an idea it's kind of stupid and irrational but what if we were to put a Terminator-like robot on each and every flight. Any thoughts?

.

Oh, and the mistake you speak of Jake, resulted in someone being shot several times in the head, and he wasn't even acting suspiciously. That guy could have been me or any other London commuter.

Too bad it wasn't you.

Wow, you are a total scumbag. I hope you die of liver cancer, you f***ing piece of sh**t.

A lovely little exchange.

Not as much funny as sad that someone would actually say that.
