So, spoiler alert: turns out Klobuchars statement was 100% planned.

If the choice is down to the two, Harris should be a no-brainer.

But Demmings' record as Orlando police chief won't be attacked? Gimme a break.

If the far left goes on about KaMaLa iS a CoP, what would they do with an actual cop?

It's not just the far left who are going to say that in this climate, my dude. Both choices are absolutely terrible, optically, and Biden would legitimately be better served choosing someone tactically less optimal, like Abrams or Bottoms.

I hope they're just trying to boost Demmings's clout ahead of a 2022 run against Rubio.

I mean, at this point it's just obviously going to be Kamala Harris.  Just keep Maya far far away.

It's the far left we're talking about. They will be mad if its a black person in general.

Demings and Harris are both fine candidates for VP. I’ll be fine with either.

I would take the reporting that it's between Harris and Demings with a huge grain of salt.

If it's between them then please pick Demings. I don't know if I can vote for a ticket with Harris on it. Her prosecutorial record is just so awful and it's just too blatantly hypocritical.

I would literally bet my life on you finding an excuse to vote third party regardless of who Biden picks for VP.

Demings seems like a decent choice to me if it can’t be Warren.

I don’t get the appeal of Harris.  She seems so overrated to me.  She started her political career by getting appointments from her boyfriend, her electoral history in California is underwhelming (she beat her Republican opponent by less than 1% in her original AG run and she didn’t even have a Republican opponent in her Senate election), and she ran one of the worst presidential campaigns in my memory.

Mmmm casual misogyny. We can discuss her record or her merits as a VP candidate but attributing her success only to favors from men is not it.

Yup. Didn’t Fox Business report a month ago that Klobuchar was poised to be the pick, or something like that?

It very well could come down between those two.

But people putting stock into a fox business reporter having the scoop on Biden's VP search are telling on themselves.

This is the same guy who said that Raimondo was under serious consideration.

I don’t see how Susan Rice Is not running away with it at this point. A black woman with experience Who is close to Joe without Law And order baggage. Benghazi Was not the deciding factor in Hillary’s loss. This seems like a no brainer to me. She’s also got a big media presence She’s on MSNBC all the time and she’s doing the Bill Maher show tonight.

List has gotten better. Rice should not be considered. . I know she did not mean his voters, but it's easy to take out of context. This makes me question her instincts.

I think she'd be a bad pick, but come on she literally said "those who supported him in the Senate," the RNC is desperate for bad headlines, and it shows. Plus I don't think she wants the job, she's always been a foreign policy person and SoS is a very good fit for her.

There are some very real concerns with Harris. The #KHive is the center's answer to the Bernie Cult, she clashes with Biden's unity message, and her campaign style resembles the worst electoral instincts of the Democratic Party.

That being said, she brings much more to the ticket than Warren does, and I don't think most people share the concerns I have.

Uh, yeah, pretty sure it's only the far-left. If anything, the fact that she was a prosecutor / DA / AG is a plus for most people.

It's bad optically to pick somebody who knows the ins and outs of the criminal justice system exactly when we need it?

God, the attacks on Harris' record are getting pathetic, especially considering - she's not perfect - but it's always in memes and generalities and the attacks are never based in reality or good faith arguments

The guy from NYT said yesterday on the daily that a month ago, Klobuchar was the top choice.
