Demings seems like a decent choice to me if it can’t be Warren.

I don’t get the appeal of Harris.  She seems so overrated to me.  She started her political career by getting appointments from her boyfriend, her electoral history in California is underwhelming (she beat her Republican opponent by less than 1% in her original AG run and she didn’t even have a Republican opponent in her Senate election), and she ran one of the worst presidential campaigns in my memory.

I think she'd be a bad pick, but come on she literally said "those who supported him in the Senate," the RNC is desperate for bad headlines, and it shows. Plus I don't think she wants the job, she's always been a foreign policy person and SoS is a very good fit for her.
