What’s new? I’m not sure why this sort of thing is even national news anymore.

Unusual that there *might* have been two shooters. Emphasis on the *might*

Just another day in gun-loving America.
People have no reaction to these events anymore because they are so common. That's a true indicator of how f**ked our nation is.

My thoughts are with the parents of the victims. Let’s hope an  attack like this doesn’t happen again (although that’s highly unlikely).

considering that there's millions of dollars in lobbying to prevent us from doing anything to prevent them from happening... yeah, it'll happen again.

Apparently the new thing is to say "God Bless" rather than "Thoughts and Prayers"

Trump would offer thoughts to go with the prayers, if he was capable of it.

God why does Trump still need to offer play by play commentary; just take the briefing, and start making the calls.

No doubt we'll be under the usual embargo of not 'politicizing' the shooting, and will have to wait the usual amount of time before talking about it.

When 13 people were murdered during the Columbine mass shooting, it was something that affected this nation for months.  It appears 8-10 people were murdered during this mass school shooting, and it's an event that will likely fade from our national consciousness in a couple of days.  This country has a horrible sickness.

Nobody at my school has even said a word about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Weatherboy and I are the only ones who even know about it. It's a pretty weird feeling.

Is it OK to call the shooter an animal yet? Or should we understand his upbringing that made him do this first?

Republicans will put 100% of the blame on "mental health" in the same breath as trying again to repeal the ACA and the mental health parity provisions it contains.
