The problem is Democracts won't admit those trade-offs would restrict the liberty of people who have committed no crimes without actually doing anything to stop those willing to commit crime.

After all if the average legal gun owner was the problem in the US then the stats and circumstances of gun violence would be different.

You sure like to ask other members questions, so let's give you one.
What is your idea(s) or answer to solving this problem? There are way too many kids dying from guns in our schools. Our country stands-out in the worst possible way.
well not to be dismissive but even if you got rid of easily available guns somehow..its not like you never hear about people being stabbed, run over, etc. in the news.for reasons that largely boil down to narcissistic rage

Killing 10 people with a knife is much harder than with a gun.
