Statement from the Chris Murphy Campaign

Shortly after the polls closed, MP Murphy suffered a serious but nonfatal stroke. He has been taken to the University of Wisconsin's ER and is currently conscious. In a statement given shortly after regaining consciousness, MP Murphy made the decision to end his campaign effective immediately, and wish Lord Kerry the best of luck in leading the Liberal Party. We ask the public for privacy during this time.

Campaign Schedule Part 1: April 13-19 (Weekly "Schedule"), Ads, Campaign Staff

Week of April 13-19

Suzan DelBene splits the week between her district and DC. While in DC, DelBene speaks in Parliament to call for more funding of research of the Zika virus. DelBene holds a few town halls in DC and its suburbs in Maryland and Virginia. DelBene is also the featured speaker at a Rick Larsen re-election campaign event in Everett, WA.

DelBene's campaign staff construct minor campaign offices in Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Maryland, Indiana, Nebraska, Kentucky, New Jersey, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, and California.

Staffers and volunteers in all campaign offices, major and minor, conduct a voter outreach program that consists of phonebanking, mailing leaflets, registering voters, and trying to attract new volunteers. Staffers in potentially competitive districts also try to encourage general election turnout. More campaign resources are allocated to these efforts in PA, NY, IN, NE, OR, and CA.

DelBene's campaign records and releases radio ads in English and Spanish. The English-language ads are played in PA, NY, RI, MD, IN, NE, and every state that votes on May 24. The Spanish-language ads are played in NY, NM, and CA.

DelBene releases new internet ads. The focus of the ads is the economy.

DelBene records and releases two new TV ads. The first is "Protecting Our Oceans." The ad will be played in the following states beginning on April 14:

But this is, without question, a landmark decision in our fight against climate change and the first step towards an energy revolution, which is both good for our enviroment and socially acceptable. The climate contract is just a piece of paper. Now it is our task to fulfil the regulations and the duties we have agreed on. When I am prime minister, I will push hard for improvements and harder punishments for big polluters. But first, lets realize this contract and make the earth a better planet to live."

“If we want to secure the wealth and prosperity of this country and increase the living standards of those who didn't have enough so far, we have to invest. And the most valuable investment a country could do is the investment in education. No other campaign has proposed an education policy plan which is more specific and stable as the education offensive plan by the Warren campaign. I don't know your opinion about it, but I want our schools equipped by modern standards. We don't just invest in our buildings. We don't just invest in our schoolyards. We are investing in our country's future and in the future of many young and inspired boys and girls. The states have proven that they can not handle this task. We need more federal funding to provide constistent learning success. Not just the kids from our private schools should be able to chose their path in future, many creative geniuses are also hiding in our public schools. The two-tier system in education has to stop. If we are ready to do the investments and to help thousands of children in this country, the United States will educate the best politicians, scientists, astronauts and researchers this planet has ever known.”

Elizabeth Warren

America has never been about accepting the situation and doing nothing to make the best out of oneself and of the abilities of our community. America was and is about changing the undemocratic, unfair and discriminating political conditions. Let's repeat what our country has shown so often in the past. It's time for integrity and honest, reliable politics. It's time for new leadership.

I'm Elizabeth Warren, and I approve this message.

To be aired in all states with upcoming primaries.
